Needle felting is an enjoyable, relaxing craft and I enjoy teaching the process. I recently started classes at my local library and was encouraged by my students to do some online classes as well so here we are. I may through up some other tutorials as well as time goes on. Awe, you are most welcome! One of my pet peeves when I first started was all those videos that either don't give instructions, or speed it up so fast you can't see what they are doing. I don't mind the tightening up parts being sped up but I want real instruction so that is what I decided to do when I started making videos. Thank you for your comments - they means a lot to me!

What is the base for your needle felting? Is that some kind of paper you’re felting on top of?
I used a piece of linen then I traced my design onto a sheet of interfacing and pinned it on to the top of the linen.
@@chickenruncreations-needlefelt Thank you! I've never done needle felting on anything but wool or felt, so this is a very exciting idea!
@@thatsnotfunnymrskatie You can use almost anything. I had a cotton shirt that I got a hole in the sleeve so I put a piece of interfacing on the inside of the sleeve traced a pattern on some dissolvable interfacing on top and needle felted a sunflower over it. Came out great and I extended the life of my shirt for a little longer. As long as you can get your needle through the material you can use most any.

My arm keeps unfolding or stretching out ugh what needle are u using? I'm using one that has 3 needs but maybe that's to big?
I'm sorry you are having problems. I would go down to just one needle. Start with a larger needle like a 36 or 38 and work your way down to a 40. Sometimes the more needles you have the harder it is go to in the wool. If you have just one you will be able to control it a bit better. Also, if it gets too long, just go ahead and trim it down. Also once you have it somewhat secure, roll it in your hands to help felt it. Hope that helps!

I still have problems with a project regularly but now I can usually figure how to fix it, or I start over differently and find a better way. Best wishes!

Awe, thank you! Start with some simple projects like using a cookie cutter or make some basic shapes. It will help you as you progress.

Thank you for your kind words. If I can figure the tech out on how to film while on my computer I would be happy to share. I use Midjourney through Discord to generate images. It's a lot of trial and error but it is fun and you come up with some unique images. I have a hard time making something if I don't have something to look at, I'm not one of those who can see it in my mind and make it, never have been even in my days of painting.
