Taking the 350 out to the land of desolation
Thank you for that response that actually does make me feel a little bit better.
I’ve got a 23 TX300 with the TSP head and trail tunes (MX -green, Hard Enduro - white) and a 24 XC with the RKT head and Josh Matthews tune. Both run fantastic, and both sponge plenty although it varies depending on how I ride. My TX with the shorty silencer and Spanish Fly spark arrestor sponges more than my XC with the FMF 2.1, but I think that’s because of the design differences. My son and a riding buddy also have TBI 300’s, and they both sponge. On the TBI motors you need to think of sponge as a feature, and not a defect. Your bike runs great, I’ve ridden the same trails you show in your video and I don’t think your bike is down on power. Just enjoy it and be happy. 😀
PS, Glaciers need to move. Snow fields sit in one place and melt. You passed snowfields, as Utah doesn't believe in Glaciers.
Sure... Semantic's are real 😁
How much dirt you gonna fling?
Maybe the testers aren't calibrated, but both showing an increase of 20 psi is at least consistent. What is the new head supposed to gain you? If the answer is 20 psi then you got what you were hoping for (other than an accurate reading with my crappy tester!!! LOL).
20 psi is what was expected... some accurate readings would be nice though..
I did the pinit split kit on mine with a JD Powersurge controller to adjust fuel. More low end torque.
Looks like Camp Verde area.
It's out at 5Mile Pass, UT west of Eagle Mountain
Both are great. Hard to pick just one.
@flingndirt_UT Hey man! Sorry but I removed your comment. I have recently started deleting any comment the says "Delle" in it. I am being more careful about providing the location of were the video is filmed. I am just being super cautious since they started closing trails down out there. Thank you for the comment and yes it is in the location you asked. We need to meet up sometime out there and put down some miles. I posted here cause I didn't know how else to contact you.
Oh gotcha.. NP I completely understand and I should have not said that for the reasons you stated. Anyhow, you can contact me @ 385-347-1996 my real name is Gene!
How does the Lexx pipe fit and perform?
Fit was decent but could use some refining and I'd say performance was same as factory..
Was an awesome trail.. didn't know that detail about it being state land.. Thanks for watching and the comments
Super fun section of trail! Good thing BLM can't shut this one down since it is not on BLM land! Noce riding!
I went the whole hog and went TSP medium head , IRK and their super dooper ECU re flash .😊
Cherry Creek is a blast! I was just out there the last couple weekends. ruclips.net/video/_-pRIJ_RH-4/видео.html
I mean it is. Did you notice more power in the higher ends? Like top end gears like fourth and 5th?
Yes, only 6th didn't feel much different
So I started running the NICECNC clutch lever on my bike. My buddies had been running the Midwest engineering levers for years. I had a hard time justifying the price of the Midwest. When I found the NICECNC lever I jumped on it. I am very happy with my purchase. I actually like the feel of the NICECNC lever better then the Midwest engineering. Nice vid also. It was nice running into you out there Saturday. The last part of the trail has been there for quite a few years. I have been using it as my warm up trail for the last few years. I call it "THE WARM UP". Here is a link to one of my videos of it: ruclips.net/video/1gTFofz_sbs/видео.htmlsi=6pt2LWKOuNYIDXhZ
That last part was the funnest part.. I hated buying the NICE lever but can't deny it's the better lever of the 2. I suspect they took the idea from MWE and just improved on it a little and made is a third the cost so.... win win
@flingndirt_UT I completely agree. Definitely copied the design and changed just enough to make it their own.
Super fun area! Great place to get some seat time if you don't have a lot of time. This is my ride from the same starting point. ruclips.net/video/qCtQzIIS6Ao/видео.htmlsi=ZMSF8FVbOScJUfog
way easier and quicker to pull the swingarm pivot and 2 linkage bolts
Hmmm, never thought of that, I suspect you're correct though, good PRO TIP!!
@@flingndirt_UT definitely not a pro! Ha. I tried your way once, and then followed the procedure in the manual :-)
@@neizpiez what's a manual?

Have you ridden it much since you installed it? I just received mine along with the pinit reeds and getting ready to install. Any downsides you've found compared to the stock setup? Like it so far?
Yes I've put about 30hrs on it and it has been great. Now I have switched to the split injector option and found that this is smoother with a touch less bottom but I prefer this feel for technical stuff.
Ok great thanks! I plan to do the split as well and allegedly the optional reeds he supplies are better for low end as well so hoping it'll be good! Im sure messing with the power valve can help too. Cheers man!@@flingndirt_UT
Just ordered TSP IRK and their ERM. Will update in a week If I remember. Lol I just got a 2020 tx300 and ordered most the stuff on my way home with the bike
I have a 19 KTM 300 xcw with 54 hours. Im planning doing a pinit racing block, oil pump delete, one injector behind the reed block and leave one on the cylinder. No ECU remap. Does it matter which side of the cylinder i leave the injector in.
Nope... Either side works as there lines are under pressure when running
Soo good
You need to record the adding of these mods to the bike. I assume you did the work yourself right? Also, is this at 5 mile pass?
Yes i do all my own work and a new plan on doing a more thorough breakdown of this bike once I get things dialed the way I want
I was also really just trying to test the angle of that camera Don't think I like it in that position though but thanks for the comment
@@flingndirt_UT the view was unique. It was interesting cuz it was different. But maybe a combo of angles from each ride to shake it up.
You talked to Long and he didn’t have any points. Keep working at it just try to stay to the point.
"hi5, namaste" good video buddy!
thanks
Looking great!
So I ended up really liking 140psi and 20 out on compression and 11 out on rebound. I also backed the shock out to 16 on LS compression and 2.25 out on HS, the 11 out on rebound.
300 SXS from Slavens made a modest improvement across entire RPM range. I would not say it was game changing but noticeable for sure, once I mated it with the PC pipe and R304 silencer it was a beast...
man down in texas it was all ice got some nice drift clips tho
I think these studs would work much better on ice than just the snow itself, but you would need a stud in each knob... My test was not done real well but I wasn't trying to be all scientific, I was just curious... :)
Wow! By the 1 min mark I would have laid the bike down 3 times minimum! 😮
hehehe... watch again in HD maybe it will be easier then
Title of the video should be 'watch me ride my dirtbike'. There's no review.
How did yu like the foot pegs
Well ultimately I ended up going back to a static peg as I could not get used to the pivot pegs on the track, for trail riding they had some advantages.
Thanks for making this video. I'm finding it akward to stand and lean forward while going up hill. I feel like the rotation on these pegs will help me feel fully planted.
You're welcome, those pegs definateely provide a different feel on the bike. I did end up going back to a fixed position pegs. I'm now running Flo pegs and I think I prefer these to the Pivot pegs but there are times I miss those.
"OK so I could not find any good reviews on these so.....' and you end up wasting even more broadband.
Well I'm sorry you feel like I wasted your time but like you said there are really no good reviews on these. This was vid one of several I've done on those pegz so you'd have to watch the rest to see what I thought of them for track and trail rides...
Just rippin NICE!!!!!
Well actually I shot this vid as proof that there is a problem. This is not good... :(
@@flingndirt_UT Whats it doing?
@@ThorRider0022 clutch is not operating properly. RPMs get way higher than they should given how slow it's going. An XP4 should not really ever get above 8200 which means something in the clutches is not set right...
@@flingndirt_UT is it on stock tires? Should just be the weights on your primary I would start there! Go with a heavier shim and see what that does!
@@ThorRider0022 On 30" Mongrels but does the same thing on the stock BHs...
Ugh.
I'll assume you meant to say "ugh, that looks like a riot" and you'd be right.. :) Still love my TX300 but this is a lot of fun as well and can spend time with the kids
@@flingndirt_UT I get it....spending time with the kids. I'll keep the rest of my comments to myself as I am jaded on this UTV topic.

grab that middle piece with some needle nose and pull. Or you might be able to push it out from the other side with a small allen wrench
OH sweet, thanks for the tip!
Great trail. Thanks for taking the time putting these together. TX sounds good!
NP, thanks for the comment
Great riding man! I am thinking about getting the new TXi. Are you happy with the the semi close ratio gearbox for trail riding?
Love the semi-close trans, would never want the W-ratio at this point.
@@flingndirt_UT Thanks for the reply.

I live in Monroe UT., just where is the area you are riding in. I'd love to go there?
It's about 15-20 miles south of Wellington just past the old abandoned gas station off US 191 goo.gl/maps/gv4Hazfj9962
Told you it was a muddy mess!
Dirtbikes love mud..
I found myself wanting to see a little further down the trail. Next time maybe aim the cam just a smidge higher. Cool video though! 👍🏼
Yea I noticed that too, wish there were a way to know ahead of time how it was going to look...
