I'm an old friend of your Dad's Matt and it does my heart good to know you've picked up that guitar and played the hell out of it. Carry on . . . us old guys aren't gonna be around forever.

I have no idea how I could have even considered you being wrong now that I've watched your RUclips videos! I can't really think of anything to say about them that is it's done well from a filmmaking perspective but that's sort of irrelevant when it comes to this kind of stuff. Now the work that I've done isn't as good as yours as just because I was paid for many years to do it because how much everyone in the bay like my work has nothing to do with the quality of it. The majority of the live music is shot with an hv20 and Canon T3i and of course color corrected been heavily manipulated in post, along with the audio in Pro Tools. I thought that you had said you had a Canon D60? Why is the quality so awful I wonder if you wonder. Just ask and I'll tell you, it's a very easy fix. of the fact that but not lie I can tell that you know how to edit multiple camera angles to a song. Honestly I don't really feel comfortable with you looking at my videos because I think it might make you feel bad, as I just had to have a conversation with you and another guy about things that I've known since I was in Middle School to be true yet the tremendous certainty in which you explain the funniest theories I've ever heard in regards to how video works isn't so funny when after you leave I discovered everyone in the cart thinks that you actually said anything that was truth. I wish it didn't bother me but to be honest it's one of the most disrespectful things I've ever experienced when a person tells me I'm wrong about something that I'm an expert in because of reasons that they have seemingly invented on the spot. In any case I'd love to give you some pointers that would dramatically increase the quality of your work but we both know that that would be sacrilege for you to even consider. Good luck with the rest of your video film career and if you do end up watching any of the videos on my Vimeo or RUclips page I'd like to know if you think they're that much worse than yours okay?
