Is Montypresso the Magic Touch for Laurel and Pao Ferro?

Montypresso is made to darken fretboard materials such as rosewood, pan ferro, and laurel to look darker and richer.
Im a Telecaster guy and am currently on 9 telecasters, my oldest is a Squier 1984 Telecaster and I have a Fender 1986 Telecaster, all my others are import models, I have a couple with humbuckers but none of my humbucker models have an ashtray bridge. I have 2 gold body models, they are the Harley Benton Fusion T 25th Anniversary and the TE 25th Anniversary, they are both in firemist gold. the TE 25th is a traditional Tele setup. Do you still get the Tele Twang with the humbucker?
the bird with a jean jacket picture is so awesome. Also thank you for inspiring me, ill definitely make a parts guitar now!
Rad! Plenty of choices out there for parts and places to start. I like starting with an existing guitar when I can, but there's always the path of starting from scratch with a body and neck.
Leo Fender was a genius. Recognized that electric guitars operated on different principles than an acoustic guitar and therefore didn't have to adhere to the same construction dogma. A true modular instrument. Partscasters are the purest expression of why Leo Fender's designs were so brilliant.
Heck yeah to all of that
Awesome build man! What bridge did you use? I'm doing a very similar build with my John 5.
This is actually the original bridge for the guitar. I sandblasted it and had it chromed at a local shop.
Cool guitar, man! Love custom Tele's, and Warmoth makes some great stuff.
Much appreciated it. I'm a fan as well, currently thinking about a possible Tele Deluxe build using a body and neck from Warmoth
came to hear the guitar, not the shimmer reverb
Happy to offer more than you expected! I try to spice things up since I'm just showcasing the guitar without any other tracks, didn't realize my reverb was so offensive on this one, thanks for your feedback.
Thank you quieting all the questions in my head about this guitar! Did I hear some Middle Class Rut also?
Yup, that was Busy Bein' Born in there
How do you spell that brand name? Im getting one for my self
It's a Dillion Phoenix There's an interesting Pearl one on Reverb right now, though I think it's a bit newer than mine
Nice! I have a Gallan Firebird myself, from the 70s. Slightly different to a Gibson, but easily the equal.
I'm familiar with a lot of the 70s/80s companies that did Gibson copies, but this is the first I've heard of Gallan, very cool
@@Sound_String Yeah, it's the only I've ever seen. Pickup dimensions are really different, wider than a Gibson, as I found out when I wanted to upgrade them...
I have a firebird 1 that I love. But besides that I’d would totally play that axe I think it sounds cool it would work great with my rig
I would love to try a firebird 1 at some point, almost seems like a different flavor of an LP Jr
Thank you my dude, my micro brain did not even consider this but of course this makes sense. It does sound better even over RUclips wearing earbuds
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
I use montypresso as a finisher after using India ink
I've seen others getting great results with india ink, might have to give it a try myself
Really good performance my friend!🎸COol bass
Much appreciated!
