What will be consider a good salary in the state of Idaho? As well as what hourly rate will be ok to consider and be able to rent a 2 bedroom apartment for the family? Then buy a property there?
As far as salary, the state average is $50,888 as of May 2024. It really depends on the area that you live in as far as the rent cost and requirements. What cities are you looking at potentially moving to?

We actually were just looking at some homes in the spurwing subdivision! They have some amazing high end homes and a beautiful golf course in the area! I lived off and on here in Moho since 71, once you move away it always calls you back here, I lived here 5 times, ask anyone here who moved away always come back

It is now considered suburban area but still has a population of less then 15,000 people
It’s a Republican state! And you can carry your own guns! California won’t let you do that! And hunting is great In Idaho!
