Bob drove us up to Kitt Peak for Valentine's Day. There is a scenic turn out just as you leave. I took a short video of how it looks from there. It was such a beautiful day.

Batmanuel - The Balancing Act

We have a silly Costa's Hummingbird who is pretty scrofty. AND he has quite a few problems with balance. Watch some of his funny antics from the last few weeks at our house in Tucson, Arizona. We call him Batmanuel from the funny character on "The Tick" comedy from 2001.

Costa's Hummingbirds At Penstemon Flowers March 31, 2020

The young Costa's Hummingbirds are enjoying all the Penstemon flowers in our courtyard here in Tucson, Arizona. The Costa's Hummingbirds make their nests in January here and when they hatch, they are hungry! We make sure they have plenty of fresh sugar water in the feeders and plenty of native plants with blooms.

This is not a Ruby Throated Hummingbird - they are not in this area. This video was taken in Tucson, Arizona. Although not the best video, it is definitely an Anna's Hummingbird. The song tells it all. Thanks for watching.
