Como is dilapidated and falling apart at the seams, has one of the city's highest crime rates, with a very large portion of the community unemployed, living on welfare, and gang ridden. And if you aren't black, don't get out of your car - even locals living in Como will tell you this. Not the kind of neighborhood to hold up as a rich cultural area no matter what it may have looked like a few generations ago. Black people who become successful move OUT of Como and into other areas.
