Unfortunately, these missionaries didn’t know enough to say that the Bible is literally just as equal as the Book of Mormon. It is not a replacement to it, it is not better than it, it is simply a continuation of the prophecies from prophets after all of the events from the Bible. A continuation of the prophets of old to the modern prophets of today. I can understand how the missionaries got flustered when these guys accused them of not believing in Christ, because if you truly believe in something, and can’t stand up for your beliefs, then it is frustrating. They simply lacked the word-jitsu for the situation, as well as their own patients. It became a battle of feelings more than an argument of facts and beliefs, at least for the missionaries. Yes, the Bible says that no other book shall replace, or be better than it. These are facts. The Book of Mormon is a faithful and honest continuation to it, and nothing more or less. I do not want to make anyone angry, I am simply trying to explain what these missionaries could not in their angry state of mind. They did not represent well at all, and that is on them personally.

Amen 🙏! Our whole purpose in life is to preach the true word of God (give the good news). Many have been decieved and refuse to believe the truth or go out and search for the truth themselves. From my personal experience, many of these poor souls go along with their family's tradition. All we can do is pray for these lost souls.
