People that are saying this story is not bakovidik. They are thus saying the law and the justice system is perfect. It is not. And that's why this is not embarrassing. Lhavdil, not every indictment is fair, as we see by President Trump. Every Rebbe as we know sat time in jail or prison, and we tell stories about it. Yearly. I consider them perfect. They were defending Torah and Mitzvos. The only person you are embarrassing by talking about them, is Rabbi Spritzer, for telling this story. And there is no need for that, as I explained. Yechi Hamelech Hamoshiach!

Rabbi Spritzer seeks to show the incomparable power, Ruach Hakodesh (in his view), and Ahavas Yisroel of the Rebbe by posting a video that shows the lengths to which he went to prevent the chilul Hashem and the disgrace of a Gadol HaDor, but by doing so, he actually brings no small dose of disgrace to Chabad, as he lets tens of thousands of internet users know that a respected rabbi and shaliach of the Rebbe violated the horrible issur of Lashon HaRah by making public that Reb Moshe would have been indicted for white collar crimes were it not for the Rebbe's intervention. Like many thousands of other Jews and Gentiles, I would never have known this news were it not for this video. Is this not a mitzvah Chabad is concerned with?

Seriously, what is wrong with the people in this comment section. You have a story about the Rebbe trying to save Reb Moshe Feinstein, the Rebbe who called him the gadol Hador. Somehow all these people come out of the woodwork focusing on anything but the main story. All of you are angry at this Rabbi in the video who played a huge role in saving Reb Moshe, because he said "the Rebbe is higher than him". What do you expect the Rabbi above to say? He is a chosid of the Rebbe!! In principle its understood that everybody feels that their Rabbi is the best, thats common and understandable in the Jewish world, why should Rabbi Shpritzer be judged for it? He shouldnt be judged negatively for something that no one else is. The fact that he is being judged only proves to me one thing, that these critics themselves sense that the Rebbe was unique and there is some kind of insanity they suffer from that makes them lash out against the Rebbe and his Chasidim.

If my real calling is to do a mitzvah, then why did H' put into me so much ability and drive for various pursuits leading to professional and entrepreneurial success? Would it make any sense that all aspirations H' put into me run contrary to realizing my calling instead of leading me to it?

Some parts of the story may be true but some are questionable. Who was the source that told the LR that Rav Moshe was about to be indicted? What would have been the grounds for the indictment? At the time the story took place Rav Moshe was old and infirm and had no day to day involvement in the Yeshiva. He basically had an emeritus position. The story if true at all probably went as follows. There were heavy rumors of government investigations in MTJ . The LR asked Rabbi Shpritzer to make sure Rav Moshe doesn't get sucked into in the dragnet.
