I was in this crowd and we were clapping the whole time, but when that trumpet solo hit, you could feel the electricity among everyone, it gave me trills and is one of the most memorable moments from this competition.

I just got to see this on Saturday at dci and it was amazing I loved the drumline the most (only because I’m on snare😭)
Got to see this show at Muscle Shoals. Honestly, gotta be my favorite out of the 6 that I saw. The first thing I noticed in their show was them sneaking in Smoke on the water in the beginning
I watched this live at JSU university. Also got to meet there tuba section leader.

this show design wise is top 12 worthy, and it looks so fun to perform. I cannot wait to see how it cleans up
The design is holding them back, I think. They have a great sounding corps but I don't think it's really clear what the show is about. They also have a lot of big props that just sit there for the whole show, used more as just dressing for the field I guess. It is not a cohesive show theme in my opinion

Spirit had some great momentum before the shut down and then going inactive for a season made me worry a bit. Now I know that was unneccesary. Yes, there's work to do but that same potential is there and it seems they've got a great staff who understand what it will take. Very relieved and very happy for Spirit.
