I use to see that first breed in the pond we stocked bluegill and crappie in. always figured it was a cross.

Cut bait that I caught earlier. I can’t remember exactly what was on in this clip, but it was probably bluegill or redbreast
@nixfishing I bought a new rod it has bite alert ⚠️ on it not sure what that is
@@johnhunt5090 that’s sick! It probably just puts your reel in a free spool so fish can run with your bait before you turn it off and set the hook

Bowfins are such fun fish to catch! I caught my 11lb PB bowfin with a panfish rod on a 4lbs test line it was hell of a fight! Great video man!

Is it common for people to just throw those bowfin up on the bank to die? I watch another tuber in Arkansas and in many of their videos sadly this seems to be commonplace there. What of waste of God's creatures. I am sure they serve a purpose n the ecosystem. Otherwise, just one question. How has the truck been treating you? It looks and sounds great.
Yeah a lot of people do. They can be bad especially in a pond, but I don’t mind them in the river so I just release them. The trucks great, I can’t complain!
