I think people really underestimate Sanji post Wano. There is a real world where he dies to Zoro. The foreshadowing is there. My thought was always that Sanji “loses control” and finally surpasses Zoro, but in the end fights off his loss of control to die by Zoro’s hand. It would be so tragic, and a great way to show him finally surpass Zoro.
