As someone who has struggled with addiction his entire adult life, I will say in good faith God, or anyone who loves us, doesn't want us to do anything to disorient our minds and ability to make good-decisions. Well, I don't believe that dissociating or otherwise ignoring your problems in life will solve them, but these genres of music still have worth, they're outlets of artistic expression which people connect, no different than something like painting or writing, I don't view any form of art as a problem to be solved even if its popularity or appeal might reflect a problem within us. I do think there's a trend of popular music becoming more upbeat/party centered in the wake of events like recessions such as in 2008, I think this is another example of what you're talking about.
