You've got to develop a LOT more attitude and work more on your phrasing... your phrases DIE way too soon. What ever happened to the concept of TEMPO ? You blew through several phrases... WRONGLY ahead of the pianist who playing the correct tempo. I cannot see HOW you got to the performance without KNOWING the tempo and the phrasing. POOR preparation on your part. You MURDERED this piece !! Thank God for a good pianist. Ever hear of INTONATION ? You were FLAT ! The most "telling" aspect about a performance for self-criticism is whether the performer himself would pay money to listen to himself. The adults in the room do him a disservice by telling him he did a good job... WORST thing you can do when there are as many glaring problems as there are. POSTURE is also an issue. PLACE your feet on the ground with some distance between them so you create a solid foundation... and stop with the girly movements (likely out of nervousness). Play the piece like you OWN it !!!
