Your videos make me want to move back to Pa. Raised in Jeannette and went to IUP where I fell in love with that town in the 1970s. Also lived in State College and managed a clothing shop called The Alley Cat in the late 70s and early 80's

Wow I am so happy I found your site on this glass! I have been so drawn to this glass in antique and vintage shops so I finally did some research and found you! Now I know why I am drawn to this glass! I grew up in Jeannette, Pa ....The Jeannette glass factory was 2 blocks down thru the alley from my house! As kids we would walk down to 4th street to the factory! From the street we could watch the glass blowing and blow molds from the street where the door bottom opening was level with our eye where the road wall was short.... I used to spend hours watching this process! This was in the late 1950-1960s. After high school I spent a summer working in the Westmoreland glass factory! So now I understand WHY I am drawn to glass! And I went to school at IUP!!! I have lived all over the usa and am now in Murfreesboro, Tn! I have never found the peach color....Most I see around here is blue, green or amber! Well for sure I will picking some pieces up! Thanks so much! Very informative! ❤❤❤❤❤

When you do your videos please look at the camera where you are looking at us as viewers. You are looking too far to the left in the camera. Also when selling the baskets having all of them there at one time won't sell them. Sell them one at a time. All together makes them look cheap and over kill. It's a vintage shop not craft stuff remember.

Oh I would feel very comfortable in this room. Blue is my favorite color and I have several rooms decorated in blue. I love the Victorian look as well as the English Cottage look so this suits me just fine. I too have a couple of black towel trays hanging on my blue bedroom walls!!

Was the river super high when you went? (Judging by the islands in the river just being trees) Did you run into any issues of not being able to get under bridges?

A bit too much on the walls for me and over the window, but I do love the couch.

Where do you purchase sofa slip covers?

Hi, I know this is an older video, if you still have the booth: an idea or two: string, cord or wire on the picture hangers allows you to use the peg board hooks to hang your frames. Also, since you have a large number of baskets, you might consider a rope or swing chain strung across the front, wall to wall in the booth, to get the baskets hanging. Also, the tops of the corner cabinets, a large basket on its side? Maybe ? With table linen or something spilling out. I took pictures of my booth, and then looked at those, it helped me too, not just for inventory, but so I could see it as an observer. It was great fun for me when I did it. But wasn’t profitable enough. Shut downs… so I didn’t reopen. I also learned from photo taking that light colored items on a dark background and dark on a light backdrop, for best viewing.

Hey, I have a Cannondale bicycle that I bought before the company sold itself to the devil in the mid 2000s. My bike was made in Bedford, PA. 6:25 - My grandparents had a set of dishes that looked like this! I don't know if it was Currier & Ives or just something similar. The last time I saw those dishes was 45 years ago. I really appreciate your creativity, your frugality and your eye for beautiful things!

This is really inspiring. I live in a 90-year-old house (originally a farmhouse) that, unfortunately, had most of its vintage home character renovated out of it long before I bought it. But I have rooms that need painting, and rather than just slap on a coat of paint, you've shown me some ideas that would not only spruce up the rooms, but also make for creative display of some meaningful items that are currently just kind of dumped on various pieces of furniture or in cabinets and put back some of their original charm. I think I will work with my youngest daughter, who is a budding artist, to plan it out and feature some of her artwork.
