The amazing relationship between legendary pianist Byron Janis and Cuba.
He's nearly 100 in 2024. Extraordinary human. Respect and light to Maestro and Maria 💫
I have the honor and great pleasure to know Mrs. Maria Janis. And to call her a friend. I was gifted by her an autograph book of Mr. Janis. Why this legendary man’s life is not a movie. Is beyond me.
I'm so glad that the two of them found one another. His autobiography was also very inspiring: I've gifted it to several friends. Fwiw, his experiences in the paranormal overlap with a great deal of other accounts, encouraging a broader discussion. A courageous person - and a rare one ~ a humble legend. Respect. ✨️
I had the pleasure of knowing Byron for many years. I was the physician assistant for 21 years at the hand surgery center led by Dr Charles Melone. Through many surgeries and injections Byron never gave up and stands as a symbol of hard work and fighting through adversity. An amazing musician and even more amazing person. God bless.
So amazing, so admirable, so inspiring!
Oh! the triumphant spirit, how wonderful. Thanks for the lessons in overcoming life challenges. On like today we are told to play the victim card at every opportunity.
Great!........... Byron was the first American pianist I saw in Russia back in 1962 at the infamous Benny Goodman concert. I am glad he is doing something for Cuba - one of the greatest countries in the world. Cuban people like Russian people love music and art and recognize genuine artists and human beings such as Byron. I see my friend Frank Emilio, the blind pianist there playing and meeting with Byron.
