Thanks for reaching out! In this instance, there was not a large enough footprint to accommodate a larger water tank. Certainly, weight also plays into what size tanks we can or will use, but specifically in vans, the size restrictions are generally what limit the layout first.

In this instance, the customer requested an installation in this trailer that they already owned.

Great question! This deluxe skid build is meant to be installed in a truck bed. The trucks this build would fit include: Nissan Titan King Cab (78.7in bed length), Toyota Tundras (77.6in bed length), Ford 250's, Chevy 2500's or any trucks with an 8' bed length. We're always happy to take down the make/model/year of your truck to double check the dimensions as well prior to purchasing.

@3rSalesService a half ton is plenty? My truck sucks though, 2018 crewmax tundra with the queen sized bed 😆 I absolutely love how everything is compact, accessible, and ready to go.

It looks like the 2018 Toyota Tundra Crewmax truck has the 5.5' bed size, so a 5.5' deluxe truck bed skid may be a better option. The weight of the skids vary depending on the equipment installed on it, but the payload the type of truck you have looks to be between 1440 and 1600. The BANSHEE skid in the 6'4" size weighs approximately 1000 lbs, so you would have approximately 400-600 lbs you could add in liquid weight for travel if a similar weighted build was installed in your truck. In this case, we'd recommend just filling your water tank on site rather than filling it prior to traveling to the job. All of our builds are equipped with a float valve that automatically turns off the water fill once the tank is full, and then proceeds to fill again once the water level starts to deplete. This makes it easy to connect to a water source first thing when you arrive, and not have to worry about refilling throughout your job.
