I think the X L looks clumpy. For application I blink with every stroke to really coat the lashes as per Abbey Yung videos. Then I add Elf Lash Xtndr and it looks great!

This product needs a light touch that begins with always handling the tube with care. Just open the tube carefully and without applying ANY pressure swipe a little product off the top. No mess, no loss of product. Then close the tube again right away. I divide the small amount of product between my two middle fingers, dab it onto the eyelids starting in the middle, and then working quickly (tapering off) towards the corners. A little product goes a long way, and until you gain a bit of a feel for how to work it it’s best to use as little as possible. You can always layer more on top. If you want to correct an area after the product is dry use a moist sponge eyeshadow applicator.

I think your makeup looks great but I feel you I have had days like this. I had not heard of this brand and AGREED it makes you lips look very moisturized but not too shiny like a gloss. They are super nice I have to say. And don't migrate to your teeth does it get any better! Thanks for the introduction to this brand and lip products. 👍. Goes to show you've been a glowy cheek person before it became a trend❤. Have you considered making notes on your favourite blush colours and preferred texture/s when you're editing? I'm curious about what your essential blush characteristics are. Putty blushes' tendency towards stiff formulation that needs warming/ working into the brush, just isn't my first choice for blush. Dual use liquid or serum-type blush suits my application preference better, e.g. Glaminatrix's cheek flush

Kris, have you seen those shows on telly where they'll get someone to sort out the home of a hoarder? This is what you need in regards to your make-up. It's a disaster! I have never witnessed so many odds and sods, endless brands that I have never heard of and what's going on with Temu? Don't EVER put anything on your face bought from them! Goodness knows what dangerous ingredients are included. Truly, you shouldn't be buying so many single eye-shadows, yet well curated palettes instead. You just can't keep track of them all. Why are the Glaminatrix shadows still in the cardboard used for transportation? They should be safely encased within a palette upon arrival. Never, have I seen anyone use an eye-shadow directly from the cardboard envelope - until now. Sweety, you need to sort yourself out. Whenever you tossed another product away, I wasn't thinking 'congratulations', but why did you even buy such ridiculous products, why didn't you return when they never performed and most importantly - all of that wasted money. You seriously need to get onto eBay and pick up some Pat McGrath or Natasha Denona. There are plenty to chose from that are brand new and even many who don't charge shipping! Just make sure it's set to Australia Only and you're set. Those poor items being disrespected in this manner almost broke my heart.💔 Why buy from so many brands that are not known at all or for their lack of quality. I was actually thrilled when you had advanced to MAC, a brand that I've never purchased from myself. I've always believed that quality comes first. The Sephora Sale has started today if requiring anything. By the way, it's common for Sephora to request photos, as they know that they cannot package anything to arrive to a customer in one piece. Most items will be damaged. I had two Viseart palettes in a row that turned up broken and sent them photos. Both times, they told me to keep them. I've never had any issues on the rare occasions I've needed to return an item and only once sent it back because it wasn't damaged, the labelling was screwed up and the wrong shade of blush was sent that definitely wasn't to my liking. You need to be more forceful when returning. They can probably sense your trepidation and think they can wiggle out. Stand up for yourself and never bow down to anyone, no matter how powerful the corporation is or the wealth they have. They can easily afford to refund your money. If you had returned that product online in the first place, it would have been settled well and truly by now. You simply fill out the form, explain why it failed and then they tell you to either keep the product or throw it away. What I wouldn't give to sort out your collection. Take you shopping and show you what real quality is. I don't purchase rubbish from unknown brands, which is why I love my make-up collection! Everything is of the best quality, the palettes are beautifully curated, lids fit, magnetic closures, stunningly beautiful palettes etc. My best advice to you would be eBay. You've discovered Lethal now, so why not delve into their products or build up a palette. The one constant throughout what you showed, apart from cheap and crappy, was the amount of shimmery shadows you own. Where are the matte shadows to use inconjuction with these? I actually was aware of the Easter bundle from Glaminatrix, yet have never purchased anything from the brand. You really need to concentrate on organising the products and display them in a way that you can see them so they can be used. First, get those shadows out of the cardboard as that's down right embarrassing!😯 Please, for the sake of your eye sight and face in general, NEVER buy make-up from Temu again! Try buying from the one brand, even if that's Maybelline or Revlon that are better suited to what you're more comfortable spending. The shadows that you've thrown away can be mixed with many products available today to use them in a different manner. If too pale, use as highlighter, mix with product and create lip gloss or lipstick. It's just pigment that can be used in a variety of ways. After decluttering and when you return from your trip, get this bundle of products into order so that you remember what you have and don't needlessly buy even more rubbish. Be aware of the Sales. That's where you can pick up the best quality for little money. I once bought my first PML Mothership from Sephora for 50% Off. PML send anything to Australia free shipping! They have magnificent sales. I'd be wary of some Indie Brands who are very expensive and overcharge on shipping. Your best bets are Lethal, although they can be purchased from QLD, and Oden's Eye. The EOFY Sales are the best time to purchase from Sephora, unfortunately it has now ended. Have a look at the Natasha Denona Midi-Palettes. Wait for them to be reduced, (like now), and chose one that best suits you. She has the best quality shadows in my opinion and her palettes are exceptionally put together. Anything, to stop you buying all of those cheap oddments. Okay, that's enough advice for now. You'll probably block me from saying anything else after your next decluttering videos. Just remember, I grew up prior to the internet. I'm self taught when it comes to make-up and fashion in general. Plus, I have a few more decades on you worth of experience. I never grew up with money either, hence how adaptable I can be. I made some of my own clothes and am a self-taught knitwear creator and designer. I've worked in many aspects of fashion too. From what I've seen from your personality, this is a disastrous way in which to purchase cosmetics. You'll never remember all of those endless single shadows you've accumulated. I never had much in the way of make-up when in my twenties, although I dabbled with a few luxury brands. I was having too much fun with my life to be spending so much of something I didn't require much of at that time. We didn't have online purchasing either, which helped with temptation. It wasn't until I began to settle in my forties that I got back into make-up. When I went to Europe for a few months, I took an ivory and mid-brown eye-shadow and that's it. Natasha Denona shadows would do well for you due to how easily you can blend out one shadow across the entire eye. I really don't like seeing waste, even if not my own money spent. I'm not really a nail polish wearer, but your shattered Glaminatrix singles can be mixed into top coat and turned into sparkly nail polish. Other shades can be mixed into lip gloss, if the colour is lip safe. I often add mixing drops to make shimmery liners.

Kris, you have the right to a refund under Australian Law. A product 'needs to be fit for the purpose for which it is intended for', clearly this is not. You cannot be forced to keep a faulty product! You should be calling Consumer Affairs in SA. If you fail to speak up, it will then make it harder for everyone else to return faulty items. Did you speak to the manager of the store or just a sales assistant? No-one enjoys having to return things but sometimes there is a need to. If no-one speaaks up, Sephora get away with doing this to countless others. Either call the store or visit, but speak to the manager! If you get no satisfaction, contact Consumer Affairs in your State straightaway. They cannot be allowed to break our laws! 🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

Thanks for sharing that info. It's good to get a warning about any product that doesn't live up to what's been advertised. I feel sephora should have definitely refunded you & sent the product back to Fenty. So disappointing & waste of your hard earned money. Consumers in the USA can take their products (makeup) back for refunds, even if it's opened & not suitable , lucky things. ❤❤

First up, I'm sorry that you had that happen to you. Secondly, you *are correct* in your understanding. Under Australian Consumer Law, a seller's Terms and Conditions *cannot* limit consumers' rights - including the right to buy goods that are fit for purpose. Those new Sephora Australia terms were published on 8th May 2024, according to their own site. Regardless, you can tell them you are asserting your consumer rights and they either need to refund or replace etc. the item for you.

Oh no! What a frustrating experience. I ran over to the Sephora website to see the return policy. It looks like, at least in my country, we can still return for a full refund. I would be so upset if that changed without notice. At least the eyeliner you purchased is beautiful! I hope you get the commercial. 🤞🏻

I so love how Lethal placed the intense yellow gold shimmer right next to the deep burgundy, they pair beautifully. When you held up the four shimmers, I stated - 'use them all'. Which you did. All of those shades worked together and blended to make a look that I'd be happy to wear. Maybe, without the liner on the outside edges, as my brow/orbital bone has a habit of blocking me from taking anything past this point. I'm kicking myself for not getting the Air Liners, yet I was being responsible for once, just like the highlighter. If you're having second thoughts about the Water Palette, keep in mind that these shades will not be released as Singles, only in the palettes whilst available. Don't be concerned with how long you've had product for. I keep mine until they literally can't be used anymore! We never had use-by dates in the past, so they mean nothing to me now. Looking forward to see your collection. I think you'd faint if you saw mine. It's over the floor, well some bits and pieces, waiting to go back into its container. I'm still missing a Pat McGrath lipstick I was gifted which is rather upsetting. Hoping that it's hiding in a handbag somewhere. Despite how much there is, I tend to keep track of everything. Lethal was having a 40% sale on their BYOP section, which is the best way to pick up shades you'd like or to create your own dream palette. Kris, you should've got the Water Palette. I don't know why you think blue won't suit you, but I can't see why it wouldn't. I do hope you were able to do something with the second Air Palette? Just love the colours in the Earth Palette, which really suit you. I managed to get the other Liners and Glitter Gel added to my order and now it's just a matter of waiting. I didn't succumb to the Highlighter, as I really didn't need it. I did want it, but had to be realistic. When one starts to loose items of make-up that hasn't been used much, I've gone too far. I didn't think I'd get much wear from the Air Liners, especially being so light in colour. You wouldn't be able to lift all of my make-up in a box, you'd need a dumpster instead. Before you declutter or just go through make-up, you still owe us the Fire Palette. Looking forward to that one, especially with the deep burgundy matte and the intense yellow gold shimmer. You shouldn't have said anything about your eyebrow, as I never noticed but just had to rewind to find what you were talking about. It could hardly be seen. Hope Billy survives his ordeal today.
