It's awesome and all but having to point at the crowd at near stall speed at that altitude when they are that close might possibly be a probably not great thing to perhaps do maybe. Then again it is an airshow, it's not like the pilot is fresh out of flight school. And also it's Russia. Can't help that going outside means taking unique risks.

incredibly dangerous move to do facing towards the crowd like that. brings back horrible images of that other su35 that crashed into the crowd at an airshow in russia killing hundreds of people.

Air transportation has played an increasingly important role in Afghanistan every year, given the lack of a developed network of railways and highways there. Special training was given to the units of the dushmans, designed to fight against Soviet aviation. The use of special anti-aircraft missiles was beyond the power of the illiterate Afghans themselves, for this they were trained in training centers under the guidance of foreigners.
