    I don't see any kind of vents or heater, per se. Do you have to do anything to keep it 'extra' warm in the winter (besides the stones), or do you vent it or blow fans inside in the summer to keep it from getting too hot?

    • @NicolesGardenNS
      @NicolesGardenNS Месяц назад

      I don’t heat it, it’s not necessary for my needs. As for ventilation, the door stays open 24/7 after last frost and a few of the windows stay open for a nice cross breeze.

  • @abitdazedd
    @abitdazedd 2 месяца назад

    I have 2 of these in my backyard, and they are huuuge, and I really want to cut them up and propagate them. The reason I want to do that is because my neighbour thought they were on their property (our boundary is a bit vague) and I want to save them because they just cleared a lot of greenery on their property. Their main trunk and leaves are seriously huge and thicccc Question: Will they remain huge, and new leaves be equally huge as they regrow? I want to have them as indoor plants. I'd like a slightly small monstera in my house, but I want to save these ones. Going by your method in this video I could get a number of them. I also heard that they should sit in water for some months before repotting? Does that depend on the maturity of the plant and root system? I'm kind of just assuming that they'll be huge because the plant is old and large, and the leaves will match the current energy. I hope this makes sense haha. (I'm kind of new to plants. In my plant dad era) Thanks!

    • @NicolesGardenNS
      @NicolesGardenNS 2 месяца назад

      Hi! I assume you are in a tropical climate if they are growing outdoors happily. If you can take a cutting off the very top it may be a bit smaller, and growing indoors they won’t really get as big. It also depends on the variety, there are many dwarf varieties on the market. You definitely don’t need to sit them in water, I planted mine directly in soil. If you want to see the root development though, this is a good way of doing it. Depending on your indoor conditions, the leaves MAY continue to be huge, but that’s not guaranteed. My recommendation, go for it! Take multiple cuttings and try it both ways, that way you’ll have lots and if you find they root faster in water, please let me know :)

    Hi Nicole, I see you’re passionate about creating content on RUclips around gardening, which interests me a lot and is fantastic! While I’m excited to connect because I specialize in helping creators like you establish a strong and cohesive channel brand. As a RUclips art designer, I see this an an opportunity to help you crafting eye-catching channel banners, logos, and video thumbnails. Additionally, I can design engaging video intros and outros that perfectly align with your content style. If you’re interested, I’d love to create some designs tailored to your channel’s vision. Let me know if you'd like to explore this further! Best regards, Kamlesh

      Oh at least 20, but I chop it like this every 3-5 years to keep it under control. Since I made this video it’s rooted well and put out 3 new leaves 🌿☺️
