I pray for you, Fr John, as your ministry as a priest shines the light on your Jesuit traditions, that your pastoral care of our fellow Catholics is delivered like our Holy Father's early work as a priest was back in the day. For you share a strong tradition as a Religious, and our world needs that type of leadership.
Congratulations to you all, especially to our brothers: Isaac and Joshua. Lots of love and prayers from your family at Holy Family, Mt Druitt. <3
Congratulations to all❤!
Blessings and a great path to all of you, brothers!
Congratulations to all 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
감동입니다.
My priest won’t let me take part of the Eucharist because I’m a trans woman. I have come close to the Detransitioning just for I can take part of the sacrament.
Rest In Peace Andrew
Beautiful clear video ✅thank you for your service
Great man - great attitude and kindness
Nice gowns! 🌝🌞🌙
The Church has her teachings for a reason. The "LGBTQ" community are human beings, made in the image and likeness of God, and are loved and wonderfully made. However, to affirm and condone sin is disregarding the fundamental reason why the Church has certain teachings about sexuality and why God created sex in the first place. We are all fallen sinners, we all need Jesus, but we are called to repentance, not to be affirmed in our sin.

Little gay man. Bye.
All of this is real. All of this was also entirely avoidable via monthly and annual maintenance, which the gay Jesuit pastors have clearly ignored. Why would I give a dollar to upgrade this stuff? We have clear evidence from this video that the gay Jesuit pastors never do anything to keep place up.
Father Joe was a politically correct white guy who ran a politically correct, white, very gay IRRELEVANT parish into a ditch.
PRAISE GOD
Merry Christmas!
I would like to make an advent wreath. The ones I've seen in religious stores cost quite a bit for a metal ring with candle holders attached to it, usually bare or with little decoration on them. This was a nice video and gives me several helpful ideas on how to make an advent wreath. Thank you and God bless you!

Glad to see Father again
I had Father Himes three times as a teacher from 1999 - 2002. His stories of the Prodigal Son and the story of his mother having dementia is a story I share in my own class as a teacher. He had the unique ability to be kind, intelligent and have a great sense of humor. Next to my own Father, you knew you were in the presence of greatness. He also made you feel like you had value. May he rest in peace.
Rest in peace, beloved Fr Jim. You were such a gentle soul, a wonderful priest, with an infectious smile. Thank you for your great priestly life. Pray for us still on the pilgrim way.
Wonderful celebration, thank you
I am going to miss your homiles Father Joe.

Beautiful!
Thank you for such a wonderful service
Thank you for your inclusivity.
March 19, 2022 - Nowadays many people are blaming EVERYTHING on the Jesuits...what say you? Has Ignatius' message been hijacked? It doesn't sound like he started out corrupt.
I love the idea of reaching out to people on the margins! And, not bringing condemnation. Jesus encounter with the Centurion, Zacchaeus, & even Women at the Well all included one thing, either implicitly or explicitly - a command to repent & make restitution for their sins. Jesus never left someone in a state of feeling 'comfortable' in their sin (or its near occasion). Reach out, embrace, & most of all love those on the margins - YES, exactly the way Jesus did!! I realize relationship must precede the call to repentance/restitution - is that your strategy, Fr. Martin? Relationship first and call to repent second? I know many in the Catholic community are concerned you are leading people down a path of destruction as it is hard to find (in your ministry) the call to repentance - it seems you are leaving the LGBTQ+ community 'comfortable' in their sin. Am I missing something to your ministry? I do not want to be presumptuous or judgmental of your ministry. And I hope your ministry is what I think it may be, but any clarification would be greatly appreciated.
Extraordinary celebration,
We will miss you Fr. Joe and your wonderful homilies. Good luck in Jersey City
Thank you, Fr. Joe, for all you have done for the spiritual growth of our St. Ignatius Parish. God bless and guide you as you move on to your next mission in Jersey City.

I was struck by how many times, during this examen, I found myself thankful for the grace of the LGBTQ+ community members I know in welcoming *me* (cisgender, heterosexual ally) as an authentic member of the Church, trying to find the ways to understand how we can be Christ for one another in ways that don't require any of us to separate from the institutional Church.
Amazing work
Such a wonderful enactment of the story. Thank you for your hard work and sharing it with our community!
