    Just a small correction: the longest Promaster (159" WB with extended body) is less than 21'. I don't know what model is in your photo, but the shortest Pleasureway is 18' (Promaster 136" WB). Perhaps you were thinking of the Sprinter 170" WB, which come in at just under 23' (regular body) and just over 24' (extended body).

    Dometic just came out with a usb faucet that has the hose outlet on the back and a magnet on the bottom. That way you can move the faucet anywhere. I love it! The new collection is called Dometic go, and I also got the matching 11 liter water jug (squared off with velcro webbing handles).

    • @DaphneLowe
      @DaphneLowe 2 года назад

      Dometic is late to the game and at $100, way over priced. I've been using a DOTSOG (purchased for $20 on Amazon) on a daily basis in my camper van for more than a year. I got a preassembled HD kitchenette, but was intimidated by plumbing. So I bought a USB faucet to use temporarily until I got around to installing a 12v pump, battery and regular house faucet. But it has worked so well that I've yet to replace it.

    If you're taking the tabletop off to store it somewhere, while driving for example, you can slip the main table 'leg' off its wall mount and slip it onto the single rail that forms part of the aluminium tabletop mount, and then fasten it with the lever. You can then store the tabletop and leg as one.

    Has anyone tell you that you should not leave the table top on the Lagun when driving? In another forum a gentleman said that the base plate will eventually loosen if you leave the table top on. I find that hard to believe. Of course the wall that the Lagun is mounted on has to be solid. Thanks

    Does hooking up to a 30a or 50a shore power at a rv park run the risk of blowing something up since you’re only using 15a? Overheating etc? I plan on using a yeti as well, does 50a to it risk damaging the unit?

    • @ourvancasper1084
      @ourvancasper1084 2 года назад

      Hi Stephen. That bed idea should work very well for smaller kids! 😊 Are you asking about the black cab curtain? If so, we use two curtains that go across there (just behind the cab seats.) One is a blackout thermal curtain for stealth and climate control (which we hang from a spring/tension shower curtain rod) and the other is a light privacy curtain (that you can see light through after dark.) They are both really good for their individual needs. You can also put exterior window covers on the cab to avoid using curtains. Our Video #7 at 9:52 shows how we did those. I sewed them custom. Sewing 101, it just takes time. Our Video #8 (Flooring and Curtains for the Van Conversion) shows the light curtains at 6:00 as our partition between bed benches and kitchen (for potty privacy if needed), and the clips are plastic Christmas gutter clips which I show at 7:50 on. I slipped them into the existing overhead seams. I did wind up cutting the front light cab curtain down the middle and installed magnet snaps for easy access to the back (which is almost always to help hide everything from ppl looking into the windshield. Plus keeping even that light curtain up all the time keeps the (AC) cab cooler in the summer. The little metal clips that hang from the white plastic gutter clips can be found at Walmart. They're VERY strong and sturdy. I simply removed them from their rings. At Walmart's website, do a search for...

    I forgot to mention in the video that with the adaptors for campgrounds, the adaptor plugs into the power box at your camp site, then you use a long extension cord that runs from the adaptor to the black socket/port when installed on your van. Having more than one outlet (our 50 amp adaptor has 4 outlets) is really good so you can plug in multiple items like light strings, appliances while also recharging your house battery/s. You can search these ASIN #'s for parts we used. I am not an Amazon affiliate, I'm just a nice person. LOL... AC Port: B07TMR5PZ6 50 amp adaptor: B08NXHHCKG 15/30 amp adaptor: I can't bring this one up. It may be discontinued.

    I didn't realize that "Shore Power" was just to bring in power from outdoors to a particular source. For some reason I thought it also helped charge your battery bank.
