I am a Certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach and lifetime visual artist who focuses on bringing out the artistic best in myself and others. I love texture and mixed media. I also love sharing my artistic knowledge with others and watching the expression on their faces. Witnessing them letting go of everyday life to embrace the expressive and creative sides of their consciousness is priceless to me. I call this process "Masterpieces With Michele". I provide painting, mixed media, wire form, and many other art based classes either one-on-one or in a class setting, to aid in releasing yours and your loved ones creative juices.
Elinaja Lyimo and I planning upcoming trip to Arusha, Tanzania - July 2024
This video is a discussion between Elinaja Lyimo and me, as we prepare for a visit to his Jitambue Community Center, located in Daraja Mbili, Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa.
Elinaja is the founder and Director of the Jitambue Community Center. The JCC (as we like to call it) was an idea Elinaja had been conceiving for over 10 years when we first became friends in December 2019. Through the gracious efforts of Bay Hope Church, and a supportive community in the Tampa Bay area, Elinaja was provided he means to demolish his childhood home and build a community center in its place. He had dreams of having classrooms for all the children and providing them with a safe place to learn and grow.

A reading of "The Little Soul and the Sun", a parable by Neal Donald Walsh.
Просмотров 915 месяцев назад
I decided to read the story of “a soul and the sun” by Neal Donald Walsh. It’s a story that time and time again I refer back to whenever I have challenges in my life. It's adapted from his Conversations With God books. I think it's a great book for those who need to remember who the Really art and why they are here on this earth plane, right now.

Watercoloring an emotional colorwheel

It’s been a while since I’ve done an emotional colorwheel and I wanted to process the last few days. So, I got out my watercolors instead of my colored pencils and played with that for a bit. It was so much fun, that I decided to share my end product with you.
Suncoast Kids Place elephant sitting in a tree mural

I painted a mural for Sun Coast Kids Place, a children’s grief organization in Tampa, Florida. This mural was painted in a room where the children gather to discuss hard conversations around the death of loved ones and family members, plus the many the layers of grief that encompass it. We decided to incorporate an African inspired theme for two reasons, 1) so that the grief therapists and coun...
Emotional Color wheel #40 of #100daychallenge

Day #40 of the #100daychallenge. I took a couple days off. It's day #40 of 100 days. It's okay. I'm not going to beat myself up over it. I find it more important to be authentic than to feel pressured into doing it perfectly. We are all doing our best. Staying committed to growth is the best way to move forward in life. So, I'm growing through what I'm going through. Nevertheless, I'm still ack...
Emotional Color wheel #39 of #100daychallenge

Day #39 of the #100daychallenge I decided to focus on three core feelings and then a second layer, to explore and see what emerges. It feels more quite a bit more free exploring what is naturally in the middle of all of my feelings. Discovering what the core emotions are on my own. Typically, I explore based upon other peoples research and today I decided that because I'm leaning into my emotio...

Go girl!
Thank you Debbie!!! I’m learning more about myself than I thought I would!!
@@michelestonemasterpieces3914 What are you learning?
@@DebbieHappyCohen I'm beginning to tap into the layers of emotions behind the topical ones. Simply by increasing the amount of slices of my emotional pie. It drives home the comments that @RichardGrannon from @SpartanLifeCoach has mentioned again and again and continues to encourage.
So glad you're doing this! Very helpful in reflecting upon and understanding the emotional ups and downs of a day, the ebb and flow. Thanks!
Thank you Jennifer!! Yes it is! It helps normalize the feelings and emotions we have and allow them to flow much more freely. It also helps identify them so we become more emotionally literate, which then allows us to better articulate the deeper emotions. 😘
Love it!!!
Thank you Debbie!!!
Thank you Michele for this conversation. It was good to share my thoughts regarding KWANZAA. I love it.
Asante sana Elinaja! It was my pleasure interviewing you!!
GREAT MONTAGE... LOVE THE ENDING OF PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION!!! YES YES YES!!!
THANK YOU DEBBIE!! It’s such a profound compilation!
It is really fun to participate in this, even though I do get frustrated, lol.
Sorry for the late reply. I'm so glad you participated in them! If there is ever anything I can help with let me know!
My mood is a frosty pint of Guinness.
Love your drawings!
Thank you so much Carmen! I appreciate that!!
Thank you for sharing this! I'm just starting to do a daily mandala drawing and I like it a lot, no matter what I'm feeling.
Robin Jeree - You are welcome! Yes, I really like doing them too! They are so helpful with identifying our feelings and practicing emotional literacy. They help clear out any confusion and process. Thank you for commenting!
Hey Michele! It's Carmen from Fletcher. I'm going to try to design my family crest - or maybe make one up! xxoo
That's wonderful, Carmen! It was awesome seeing you today! I look forward to hearing all about your crest! XOXO
Cool!!
Thanks Debbie!
Nice doodle :)

You just brought a huge smile to my face! Thank you!!!
Awesome, love this!
Thank you Debbie! If you had to choose, which one would be your favorite?
Masterpieces With Michele It’s the collection I enjoy so much. All the different components and colors and messages and contrasts
Beautiful. Touching. Right on. Thank you for sharing and for following your WHY!
Thank you Debbie! It's one of those things that you don't realize you're missing it, until you articulate it and then it's like "ah-ha! THAT's what I've been missing!"
Hi Michele! Quick artjournal pieces are the most fun. Sketches or quick backgrounds, doesnt matter😊
You are so right! Sketches, backgrounds, zentangles, it's all the same. They're quick and in the moment! Thanks for your comment!
I like your outfit!! Fun!!
Thank you Debbie! I appreciate that!
I really like the lighting and angle in this video. It's easy to see you and also to see what you're coloring.
Thank you! That's great information!!
Every time I see you in one of these videos, I get the urge to COLOR :-)
That's awesome, Debbie! Tell me more! Do you color? If so, what does it look like?
@@michelestonemasterpieces3914 Well, I think for doodling, watercolor pencils are my favorite along with ink pens that don't smudge. I have a book of "20 ways to draw anything" (or something like that). It's got a bunch of different animals and plants. I like looking at the different angles and possibilities for each object.
