Not at all. I was driving the speed limit the entire time. I had to tell my Mom this, but the camera was mounted on the front hood of my car; imagine if your head was mounted on the front of a car and how it would feel like you are moving faster than you actually are.

Oh there are so many beautiful drives… through Mt. Tremper up past Tannersville on past the ski resort and back down the mountain is a good one… quite scenic. Up route 28 North toward Pine Hill is nice. Really anywhere is good this time of year! Thanks for easing my home-sickness! Or making it worse I’m not sure lol!

@@DiscoverHudsonValley Sure: many other trails as shown on the map at the entrance. Go left at the first trail junction and down to the river; lots to see. Go right after that and so on Map shows it all. Good luck & enjoy the hike.[and take plenty of water ]

@@jimmays650 Yes, I know exactly which part you are talking about and my gf and I tried to hike down there the other day but it was too overgrown in the section in the woods there before the river and we worried about ticks. Plan on going back soon to see if the state cleared that area a little better or just wait until it gets a little cooler so there will be less overgrown plants etc. Thank you for the suggestion and cheers!

Yeah, Central Park can be a boring, scary, and hurried place to hike these days. So glad for places like Rhinebeck!

I was just in germantown a few weeks ago. That must have been a great place to grow up in! There's still a huge farming community up here which we love. My gf and I live in the Hudson area, so know it well. Warren Street still has some great shops and restaurants etc and we go there all of the time. I hope you get to visit the area in the near future. Cheers!
