Willie K passed away two days ago (May 19, 2020) from lung cancer at the age of 59. I saw him last September and it was obvious he was not well. In typical Willie K fashion he told the audience he was not going to play tourist music and proceeded to play a fantastic set of blues and a Santana medley. A truly remarkable musician who will be sorely missed.
What a great performance from a great showman and a great man. He is a great role model for all.

Did he say that the punch toggle switches give progressively more mid range? like, say, normal position is standard resonance and then option 2 and 3 give more lower mids and then more mid range? Does the presence do the same? like normal is highs and then high mids and mids? NIce playing anyway!
BB King was known for his sweet, melodic touch, not speed driven, distorted mush like this crap.

Willy K is so overrated. One true word he says here is "ego"! So many wonderful singers in Hawaii, most better than him.

I thought the Marvel Drive and the Jetter both sounded great and pretty similar. Really liked the Snouse but I thought the Mulder was a bit fizzy, compared to the others. I used to have an original Bluesbreaker pedal and would have been tempted to buy a Snouse, if I'd seen this demo before I bought my Marvel Drive V2. Loving the Marvel, though! Having done the demo, what were your thoughts on the pedals?
+goldtop362 I forget this was still up. I posted this as a favor to a friend so he could hear them through a clean channel platform amp and he was familiar with the amp I used in this clip as he played through it. Not a really a great demo but you can get an idea. I have had both MD v2 and 3 by now. Returned the v3 after doing A/B comparison. As stated its through an vintage Marshall JMP 50wt as a pedal platform, clean. The Mulder X-1 is one of the best OD's I have played ( I currently own around 100 pedals and have played a few by comparison). It can be used through a clean channel but it is really best intended going into an amp slightly broken up or gain channel. This version is the one I helped Mulder (I pay for his gear) tweak and is the one you want IMO- of course. My friend has had the stock and this one. He says it's a "really good OD". I have been through several of the best MIAB pedals. You have to narrow it down to what MIAB era you are looking for. For JTM 45 tones, Jetter is the best I have played through. Jetter is more compressed than the MD JMP era MD v2 is great for JMP era tones and venturing into higher gain JMP/JCM territory but could use some tweaking as I suggested to Tim at Ramble fx. Currently, the best JMP era MIAB pedal I have found is the Greer Little Samson (Nick is a friend of mine. I pay for my pedals from him.) and Tone City Model M. Like the Snouse Blackbox Classic but not the newer V2- returned it. HTH
Also the Jetter more closely resembles the sound and feel of a cranked Marshall amp than the MD or Snouse BB.
may i ask you whats the difference between MD v2 and v3 when you compared them? i have a v2 and i love it with my old marshall artiste head but i am tempted to upgrade to V3 so i wana ask you before i buy it,isnt it hat good? because v2 blows my mind so am wondering
