Very cool! There is a place where I live that has a pile of these. What I like seeing the most is how each layer has a different pattern.
Another fantastic video
Thank you
bruh
Wow!!

There once was The Black Watch, The Arglye and Sutherland Highlanders, etc, etc, now you have the pretend Woyal Wegiment of puffland. Scotland is screwed

The Skylark is THE sound of the British Summer. The most beautiful song
SCOTTISH summer! ENglish larks dont sing so freely!
Thanks for this, I had a single skylark flying and singing above me whilst walking last week, and at the time I didn't know what species of bird it was. Thanks to Google and your video and I can now say with certainty it was a skylark :-)
Thanks for the comment! I am really pleased that it helped! :-) It is so nice in early spring that they rise into the air singing their heart out cheering up the day! :-)
Have been wondering what bird can sing and fly at the same time...thank you.
Thanks Bob!
I love bird noises, especially yellowhammer noises! :)
ano un?
Thank you for the lovely description by John Muir! Much appreciated, David.
John Muir was right! "From the grass where the nest was hidden the male would suddenly rise, as straight as if shot up, to a height of perhaps thirty or forty feet, and, sustaining himself with rapid wing-beats, pour down the most delicious melody, sweet and clear and strong, overflowing all bound"
Thanks for this videos only pur natur . It`s recovery for the soul when I come late from the work
G'DAY MATE ..... I'm pretty sure we got one of these in Lincolnshire. I thought I heard it today among the hops and barley while I was out with Sheila. GOOD CALL!
There are some who would like to die among the tomato plants, like Vito Corleone did.
i heard two, of what i believe to be sklarks flying overhead singing completely in sync ....singing together the exact same songs....hundreds , thousands of these variations...amazing. one of them must have been following the other sing but with nano/milli second response.
heard this yesterday near mine. never had them here before so was pretty exiting. thanks for sharing this :)
Lovely songs and calls :-)
Excellent singing of the Yellowhammer ~ thanks for sharing :-)
Very cheery song of the Skylark :-)
Beautiful singing by the pair ~ could I hear a crow in the background :-)
Great ~ this is a good way for me to ID the birds from their songs...
Many thanks for the correction! I have changed the title to the song thrush! David :-)
This is a song thrush. You can tell by the way it repeats everything. But still, lovely.
nice its very calming and peaceful
lovely
I'm from Denmark, and my sister's name is Lærke, which means skylark in Danish. Such a lovely bird, brilliant how such a simple video can bring a smile to your face. Thanks for uploading this!
I have now managed to get a short film of a close up Yellowhammer singing its song!! but it wasnt easy!!
Thank you linmira for your kind comment! David :-)
beautiful!!
Many thanks for your kind comment! I hope you have a lovely weekend, David :-)
Many thanks for your nice comment! The skylark sings very early in spring in scotland cheering up any day! I hope that you have a really lovely weekend! David, from Scotland :-)
What a hyper song that little fellow has! How adorable.
I'm really glad it helped, as I remember in the distant past, collapsing with exhaustion trying to get the baby to sleeep! Must be a lovely baby! David :-)
great for my baby, she finally fell asleep!! Thanks
Many thanks for this information about Beethoven and his pupil Karl Czerny. I heard about this link to Beethoven's 5th synphony, many years ago, but now the story is more complete! I very much appreciate you taking the time to write this and it is a lovely story to go with my video. David Shand, Scotland.
Many thanks for your kind comments. They are very much appreciated! David :-) Scotland
Many thanks for the comments! Very Well done for identifying the yellowhammer too!
Thank you! Much appreciated!
Unfortunately not! The willow warblers do not arrive in large numbers until May.
