    I have watched many videos on doing a double border and hated tackling one because they were so difficult in many ways. I watched you and something clicked, now I look forward to putting the beautiful touch on my blankets. You speak very clearly, go slower than most and camera is close enough I can see exactly what you are doing! I’m so happy I found this video ❤️❤️

    What is the chain count for medium and large pumpkin

    • @brooklynhandcrafted
      @brooklynhandcrafted 11 месяцев назад

      Hello! The pattern notes are in the description...the medium pumpkin is 29 and the large pumpkin is 33. You'll also increase the number of rows you do...the medium is 40 rows and 4 "ribs" per section, and the large is 50 rows and 5 "ribs" per section.

  • @conike2

    I love this! If I were to use wool and the hook is a 4 mm would the size be drastically different in size?

    • @brooklynhandcrafted
      @brooklynhandcrafted Год назад

      Hi Geneva! You would end up with a smaller stocking with thinner yarn and a 4mm hook. I unfortunately don’t know what the exact measurements of the finished product with that hook would be, but it’s likely to be several inches shorter and somewhere around an inch narrower if I gave it a guess.

    Thanks for posting this video. I was reluctant to try the Cable pumpkin (never have done crochet cables before) after finishing the the Ribbed pumpkin but after watching this, I'm starting it right now. You are right--writing the instructions must be tough--watching is so much better-at least for me. I added a knitted leaf from a free patten I found on Ravelry which turned out cute. Thanks for a fun project.
