    Billionaires love to talk about the "fixed pie fallacy". It's theoretically true in the short term, but it is absolutely ignorant when you think about the fact (at least with current technological capabilities) that we lived in a fixed environment with limited resources that cannot support unlimited growth. That's why they're getting to the point of austerity (being applied to employee salaries and downsizing labor), it's the only last place left to cut for them to keep extracting and hoarding more wealth. Hope everyone here is prepared as the elites are upgrading the economy's firmware to 'Oligarchy 2.0'.

    The solution to where “men are being pushed out of society” is to embrace being a drop-out, but not a decadent or dissolute drop-out. Which to me would entail focusing on self employment and concomitantly seeking to also build your own shelter, and to the greatest practical extent producing your own food as well. And at the same time not inspiring envy in others by being humble and living simply. What would happen under those circumstances is that you would most likely be seen as a harmless eccentric and for the most part would be left alone to your own devices. Because precious few women are going to want to be included either in living a rustic cabin in the Northwoods or living on a fairly small sailboat which is continually drifting here and there on the world ocean. And the ultimate expression of such a lifestyle in fact really would be something on the order of building your own sailboat and then vanishing over the horizon never to be seen again until the time came that you wanted to be seen again.

One of the features they used was the level of diversity, and less diversity increased the risk of workers forming a union.

    As a black immigrant who did engineering nobody is taking their jobs it's just that the education system is extremely bad and not to mention many of these american parents dont push their children at home but expect the school system to do so. Go to any rigorous academic program and it will always have a high percentage of Asian no matter the discipline. Anything that is a career with a high earning potential there will be Asians in them.

    The thing that made America stand apart was that it was a street smart culture, where you didn't need a college degree or social status to move ahead. Once that changed in the 1980s, and you needed a degree for any professional job marks the point the country started the slow decline. Now we have the same stagnation that has always plagued Europe: overly reliant on bureaucracy and red tape that slows everything to a halt, nepo babies and lack of social mobility, mid wits ruling the world and denigration of smart lower classes. There is no carrot on a stick. Rogan is good friends with Musk, and Hotep wants to belong to that club.

    Ethan, 15 years ago it was 'pay 1 Engineer here', or '5 remote and 1 local H1-B to manage the 5'. The turn over of the 5 was basically 1/month, and the garbage 'software'/'tests' were wrong/bad/poor. It caused so many issues, that caused me to stay late and work weekends. But the CEO was happy. and that was 15 years ago.

    It's not race, it's class. They told poor whites back in the 90s to pull themselves up by their bootstraps, just like the blacks. If we squabble amongst each other, we aren't fighting the elites and growing income gap. Gary's Economics did an excellent short today that sums it up perfectly. Japanese work 24 hours a day too, and they are on hard times just like the west. I dont want to live in a world where I am just a cog in machine to make money for some billionaire with zero time for leisure. I worked briefly for a chinese company, it was awful, they expect you to be at their beck and call 24/7, weekends, holidays and evenings.

Vivek's tweet is corret however the problem from what I've seen especially in asian backgrounds (both kinds) is that they do well in school but they don't get as far as expected in adulthood due to burnout and their parents no longer pushing them. As I get older being good at what you do matters much less then getting the right people on side. But I've got to agree with Hotep Jesus and his co speaker. They have a point with pull yourself up by the bootstraps and nobody is actually trying to excel. It's convenient that they being white right wing grifters on twitter now hate the idea when being out competed.

    What’s interesting as I listen to this vid, is that these women want men to be treated like a woman would. Also they think focusing on attaining tons of money is bad yet what is the common thing we hear from women, if you ain’t making at least 6 figures then your a bum. So yeah if women tell us “we want loads of wealth in a man” then we do it then knock us for focusing on the money. That’s why I usually don’t listen to what women say they want in a partner.

    That Dr. Shiva clip is fantastic. He’s completely right. I worked for an Indian leader who came here during the 1980s. Super smart guy, LOVES america. He raised his kids here, his family comes to visit him often, and he integrated very well. I compare him to the ones who come here in the 2010s and it’s like night and day.

    Thanks a lot! I need to review my candidate profile asap as I feel it's a bit generic... considering that they don't even read past the 2 most recent experience your lay out sounds great. I think cover letter are a thing of the past. I have 2 standards. I customise them By myself only if I think the company is outrageously amazing lol, or I need to emphasise my transferable skills. Career objectives wise, that can be tricky because it depends on the industry. AE for tech BDM for others. Though saying BDM can come across as too bold. My 2025 new year resolution is not to lose my mind on those minutiae. Though the idea of how one's is able to conduct revenues orchestration is useful. Especially for sales professionals. I need to vet out the old school high volume outbound because is not conducive and I wasted so much time dealing with people who still don't understand the value of segmentation. Flu is over back to the grind tomorrow.

    I am not buying that men are just born traditional and they have natural instincts to protect. If this is true you would never have to be taught to not hit a woman. Its your instinct, you shouldnt have to be told. You are not told how to eat, you just eat. You are not told how run away from pain, you just do. Its instincts. You are born selfish, thats why you have to be told and taught to and how to share. Same with ptoviding. Its a viewpoint pushed on by society that men should provide and they are trying to change society with science and economics. I would really like to see both parties submit their findings to a neutral agreed upon professional and see what findings are true. Both sides have professionals saying their information. At the end of the day as an individual you should do whats best for you. But I definitely dont agree with the point that we were born with the instinct to protect and provide.

    WW act so sure of themselves and confident when they are oblivious to the system working to put them in senior management, leadership and executive positions. I watched a WW come in from the NHS to a charity as a Chief “something something” to in two years becoming the CEO and on a salary of £130k - £140k. At the time she put up a stink about me getting head of department…They make me sick. I was on a FTC so left anyway and made a hell of a lot more money thankfully so not all bad.
