Zora Overcoming Her Fear of Hose and Water

This is the first time Zora has ever gone into her pool as it was still filling up! I'm sure she must have been hose sprayed (before me adopting her) because she never likes being around it. I guess on this particular day, after this particular bike run...she got over it. I didn't know that my Father was filming.

Hi Tina I purchased bird bath thing from lowes, you put water in it but so far it's been like 2 weeks they just drink out of it, haven't seem them bath yet. just keep waiting? or maybe water is kinda dirty. another question I got some bird that look like sparrow in size and shape but they got a black stripe down their throat. what are those birds called? want to google them and learn about them thanks!
Those wolves Love this lady! They want to sniff her and give her lots of slimy wolf kisses! They just wanna play with her and show her how friendly they can be. All in all, they just wanna be her Best friends.

LOL, that's really what they do! They roll around in the dirt to get out bugs from their skin.
Tina V. wonderful I am also in Vegas and I just put up some feeders recently. how will I be able to watch them take a bath like that? I got a garden near the feeder. or put some dirt near the feeder? I got some birds that LOOK just like yours but in their chest area it's orange and it's very pretty. what kind of birds are those?
okaythen001 The ones you see (pinkish-orange chest) are Finches. They don't do this as much as the plain House Sparrows in this video. If you have areas of your yard which are just dirt, believe me...they'll find it when they're ready! Just watch the birds, especially in the Summer months for this behavior. Having fresh clean water (on a daily basis) is always going to draw in wild birds in this part of the World. Even if it's just a dog bowl of fresh water daily...they'll find it! Happy birding!
Tina V. thanks so much, I was always wondering what kind of those gird are. brand new in this bird thing just got my feeders up last week. thanks for the water tip too I gonna try it out I watch them from the window inside the house, I got a shepherd's hook right by the window and sometimes they can see me, one time twice in a row they saw me and they didn't come back for a long time. they are really afraid of human huh need to hide myself they are easily scared. Hummingbird on the other hand are a little better, saw some video where they hand fed them sugar water. wonder how long until I can do that lol
okaythen001 It takes time, but most of them get a bit more used to us being around and not so scared...if there's a good source of food and fresh water always available! You may even start noticing a lot of different birds as they migrate, which is really cool! Enjoy!!!

Perhaps if you took the time to read my description instead of assuming, you might have learned that I am not a professional wolf breeder/handler nor do I claim to have any of this experience under my belt. I was simply a 'visitor' to this wolf sanctuary with the Operator's accompanying me. I'm very well aware of the nature of wild wolves and would never, ever consider getting into a cage with wild wolves.
