The guy that outed him to his father is a POS. I try to avoid people like that. I never actually came out to my parents. When I was in high school my parents had people approach them and told my parents I had gay friends and so forth. Those people also made things up that didn't even happen. My father died when I was 20 and my mom died when I was 46.. My mom remarried to a gambling addict. Having a compulsive gambler in the family was always a bigger drama than me being gay.

Yes, the media/entertainment industry gives a skewered perception of gay "behavior". Gays are from all walks of life and behave "masculine and feminine" and everything in between.

No body NO BODY, not straight not black not Asian etc has to speak their truth to anyone they find important in their life like gay men and women do. Especially see that all religions of the world have tried to convince humanity it’s a choice,evil, possession and all along it’s just our being our essence of who we are. We’re more real and honest about ourselves than anyone. And that’s incredibly special. We’re in every race, color, religion and every corner of the globe. No other group of people none have such a connection. We are a very special people.
