I have never read the Wizard of Oz books, though I do have that bind up of the first three book. I probably won't get to it this year, but would like to the beginning of next. I hope your reads go well.

@Bucky749 Yes! I read it the month before. It was my first H.G. Wells story, and it was really good.
Shark heart sounds a bit like ripping off an old movie though the main character turned in to a fish with a sonic shout I think it was set during a war the incredible Mr limpet Sorry for spamming. But the transformation thing reminded me of it .
@@Bucky749 I think I watched that movie as a kid but I don't remember it very well. I'll have to watch and compare.
I think I can help some what For graphic novels Project super powers by dynamite comics . Thunder girl digest by big bang comics . And gunslinger spawn by imagine comics For books Vampires & cowboys by John LeMay And some buried Caesar A Nero Wolfe mystery by Rex stout .

There is a sequel the gone with the wind called scarlet also the book called outsiders by s.H Hinton. Has the gone with the wind book in it as well .

@StayGoldEdits1 Oh, that's so hard! Lol. Nostalgia would have me say The Princess Bride, but Shark Heart was so unique that I would really recommend it to any adventurous reader ☺️

Reclaim the stars is a translated work as well. Zorida Cordova is an author as well and she is from Spain. I think the book is around South America so I’m assuming it was originally published in Spanish. :) Also I love Alma Katsu I never read the deep but my favorite from her is The Hunger! She always has some paranormal aspect to her reimaginings.

Hold on to your socks because it's a brutal period in history, and believe it or not, I've toned it down! It's still very dark, so not for the faint of heart!
Fantastic TBR. I loved Where the Crawdads Sing. Shark Heart is one I am hoping I can get to in September if not before. To Kill a Mockingbird is a childhood favorite. I liked picking a new card for each roll. It seemed to work really well. I hope your reads go well.

I am really interested in reading The Princess Bride. I never had and have heard such good things about it. I, of course, love the movie. I hope your reads good well.
I'm so excited to read it! If it is just a written version of the movie I'll be content lol.
@CaseyUnderCovers, from what I have heard, the Princess Bride part is very similar to the movie, but the interactions between the grandpa and grandson is expanded and a lot of fun.
Well 😅 i too have a lot more than 15 books LOL. Saw you mention you're open to random book recommends. So i'm gonna throw some out there i dont see on many lists.😌 "Highfire" by Eoin Colfer is short and sweet contemporary fantasy (... that's the genre that is semi irl, ya?), it's his first novel not intended for the children's section. Also "Scourge" by Gail Z. Martin. She just finished the trilogy this year. I'd recommend it to anyone that likes historical mortuary science. More spooky fantasy style. 3 brothers took over a family undertaker business. It's a pretty important job, because if they dont complete the proper rituals, the bodies rise again as monsters/zombies. No one really knows why.
I love those ideas! I will have to add those books to my list!

@Buzzzard Rudeness won't make anyone want to take you seriously. But I looked up the synopsis anyway. 😅 It's just a p0rn book, reviews saying there's an erotic scene basically every chapter lol. It has its place in entertainment, i'm not going to yuck anyone's yum, but "good book" only applies if you're looking for fap material you have to pay for (when plenty of good fanfic is offered online for free).

Hello whats a good non fiction book for soneone who just started reading again last year i kinda like everything except rom and fantasy
I recently read "We Were Once A Family" which is a story about children that were put into foster care. It was great and isn't too long. Happy reading! 😊

How's the TBR going so far?
I seem to be getting off track with some mood reading lol. I've finished Lolita from last month's TBR, listened to A Christmas Carol on audiobook, am about halfway through Marvelous, and halfway through a non-fiction audiobook that wasn't on my TBR. My book goal for the month was 5 so I'll get there, I just may be taking a scenic route haha. Thanks for asking!💖
I just finished reading Jane Eyre, it's not as good as Wuthering Heights by my tastes but I did really enjoy it
I've never read anything by the Bronte sisters so I'm pretty excited! I tried to read Wuthering Heights as required reading in the 12th grade, but 35 pages in I wasn't having it. I think my 32-year-old brain will handle it better than my 18-year-old brain did. lol
For some of the free spaces you could put self care prompts (not reading prompts) or you could do some take x amount of spaces forward or backwards. Or a little bit of both!
Maybe I can mix in some forwards and backwards steps to mix the game up a little. :) Thanks for the suggestion!
