When you use catapult, does the owner of the gate you pass through not get their free energy? (at ~5:20 when you catapult 4 sundivers through the gate, the gate owner didn't get an energy point. Intentional or mistake?)

Here are some questions that have come up and some answers to them: Q: If you forget to take an out of turn action (activating outer orbit stations on a flare, or someone else using your stuff), is it allowable to do it retrospectively, or have you missed out? A: If you forget an out of turn action, it all depends on your game group. Usually we allow it if someone missed something, but also it is good to pay attention ; ) Q: In this 3-player game, the infrastructure basically wound up being three straight shots to the core of the sun, with large arcs of empty space. Is this typical, or does it vary a lot from game to game? I suspect it's the latter, and having Puncture in the game encourages straight shots to the core. A: The infrastructure does vary a lot from game to game. Sometimes all the building is in the convective (first layer of the Sun), sometimes it is a big mix. You are right, the presence of puncture really had an impact on this layout, and goes to show the instability effects present in a game will have a large effect on the dynamics. Q: This seems like it would wind up being a pretty low scoring game. What's a typical score? A: Typical scores are in the 18-30 range, though that varies a lot with the suits also. Just played a game where I got 45! Q: If you have multiple stations in outer orbit and a solar flare comes up, do you activate all of them, or only one type? If you activate all, do you choose the order? (i.e if I have a node and a tower in outer orbit, do I get a free momentum on a Flare?) On the last flare, does the game end instantly, or do outer orbit stations resolve first? A: On the solar flare you activate all of your outer orbit stations in any order you want, and on the last flare yes, you still get your final outer orbit activation if it helps! The only way would really be if you found a way to get a tower in outer orbit, which can only happen if Juggernaut or Metamorphosis is in the game. Q: Are ties resolved somehow, or is it a joint victory? A: In a tie, you both escape! So it can even be partially cooperative, if everyone tries to get the same score ; ) Q: The sundivers seem pretty small and fiddly - do you find them so?. Would you consider scaling them up a little bit, or would that significantly increase the cost? Maybe a slight design modification with easy gripping in mind? A: Jon, our sculptor, spent a long time trying out different shapes and sizes for the sundivers, and the current size is really easy to handle. Sometimes you pick up many at once, which is helpful that they are not too big, but I have never seen anyone have a problem picking a single sundiver up.

OF NOTE: The components are the most recent prototype designs; the game board is an older / out of date version.

This is a 3 player game with our old prototype board.... First run through ever! Actually it was kind of fun to make.
