Lol i feel you bro. I pay for private insurance through work just so i dont have to go to the VA. But im an xray tech and my dad keeps trying to get me to work their for the benefits but i said I dont want my name attached to a place like that. Id rather be a homeless vet.

These guys never say what the VA was like 20 years ago. You would walk in and they would literally tell you to just go home.
I’ve only been out for 2 years so my experience may be different.
I have been going to the VA for 40 years and I think it keeps improving every year Wait times are down. Hospital and clinics are clean and up to date I can only speak for the ones I have been to
Wasit till you are old enough every time you call the advice line they say go to the ER. Ugh!
The golden VA is probably one of the best ones I’ve been to. With that being said; we all feel for you brother. 😂

Yup yup! They kill so many veterans through stress & malpractice. Legislation is designed to keep us unhealthy & the big pharma money rolling in. They design programs that'll help those who don't really need it & disqualify a great majority of those who do. BEST OF LUCK & RECORD EVERYTHING

Idk where people live with their shitty VA stories. All my interactions have been great lol. Then again I’m not one of the mean old vets who were all somehow special forces in Vietnam lmao. And I’m not a vet bro douche who didn’t even step outside the wire.
I can’t even get the doctors to show up to the appointments that they’ve scheduled me for because they’re on leave and then they said those appointments 2 to 3 months past the original date. In fact, I try to get my own private health insurance out of my own pocket and the VA won’t release me.
Have you been able to switch to community care? I know I can carry additional coverage through my employer. Hope this helps 🍻

That's why I just got a doctor before I signing up for VA Healthcare. Of course it helped living no where near a VA hospital at first. Now I live 2 miles away and I still don't go.
