The Altumate S2 is supplied with everything you see in this video. We don't supply accessories with our systems because aquarists have different preferences and different budgets. There are so many options for life support these days especially with all the smart automated equipment on the market these days. It's definitely an exciting time to be an Aquarist.

Have another question for you Cade. What would the dimensions be for the cayde HL 2500 series end the next size Aquarium. And the cayde 500 gallons and what would each of them cost roughly 🙏

We are one more thing and about your aquarium racks how many aquariums per Rack and what size of aquariums for The Rack and how much would a rack cost and can you video each of the aquarium the 2500 series in the next size to it and the 500 gallon Aquarium for cade 🙏 please

@@Stan-q7n hello again. The racks were custom built for a store fit out to their specifications. We only produce them in bulk, they're not something I build regularly. We do not do a 2500 series.

The S2/P range has 2 check valves on each return pipe located inside the weir. At the time this digital video was recorded we didn't have them.

I'm not sure about that to be honest. It would not be as much as it looks as most of the structure was open at the back. Filled with some foam and then soil.

It's very quiet. The main thing we needed to do to keep it quiet was to break the fall from under the mechanical filter box which we did by installing media trays above the water level which gently drip into the cups below. Fill those with wet/dry media. The rest of the system has no waterfall anywhere so is quiet.

We won't be offering any other size variations on this model sorry, other than likely a larger model around the 2.2m mark but that will be wide also. We have a dealer that is going to start planting out an Altumate 1800 soon. It's got a graduating hardscape that is predominantly wood. Not sure if they'll be using any carpeting plants. However in the past I have done an S1 Altumate that was 800 tall and we were able to grow belem hairgrass and Monte Carlo at the bottom. They didn't require super high lighting just a healthy amount of CO2 and fertz until lush and then reduce it to slow down growth. We ran 4x radion Gen 5 with freshwater chips on that. However if I was doing one again for myself it would be almost all mosses covering rock and wood in foreground and mid because reaching in to trip a carpet that deep is a challenge.

@@rippleaqua Yes, but I am still old school ... much prefer to have the option to print a manual and so have specific page open to be able to read in depth. Far better than watching, pausing, rewinding, rewatching etc.

The water level height is regulated by the drain plumbing. Water enters the weir, there are 2 drains, one low (main drain) and the other high (emergency drain). Water enters the weir from both the lower and upper vents. There is a glass channel behind the the vents to direct water to the top of the weir. The water enters the weir and fills it and drains into the lower main drain. You can then use the gate valve underneath to adjust the flow rate and raise the water level. This will stop it from sucking air down the pipe and eliminate noise. We tune them so that just a tiny trickle of water enters the emergency drain. The level of the water in the main display will be the equivalent height of the level in the weir. Hope that helps.

I ordered one, and it'll be delivered in the next week or two, and I'd like to read up on it. A video is a find supplement, but I shouldn't have to go find a RUclips comment on some video to find the information you posted in your comment.

@@elliotbc Hi mate, have you seen the international website, www.cadeaquariums.com It covers everything you'll need to know about the system and more. We don't make a paper type operating or instructions manual as it's a bit old school and prefer a more sustainable approach. But the main reason we have not gone to the trouble is because our systems were always designed for professional reef aquarists who purchased these with experience on how these sorts of systems work. In more recent times the word has got out amongst the larger aquarist community and we're now getting more and more aquarists deciding to spend once and order a CADE as their first reef tank. It's truely mind blowing. In light of this we might need to start think about working on additional info as you've suggested. Thanks for choosing CADE mate.

This model was pretty silent, its the S1 model. The new Reef S2 model is dead silent in both the weir and the sump.

@@nathanhenderson4740 our advice is always to go as big as you can afford, space permitting :) It's better than running out of space later on. Also the gear that you will use on the 600 is suitable for the 900 so in terms of outlay on accessories the price will be the same. Hope that helps.
