It would be awesome if Niko could talk to you in the mod like they can in OneShot. I saw the new update from a week ago with some of the changes like encounters being in first person and the phone call, but it would be neat if there was still that Niko-player communication, a struggle between Niko trying to tell the player to stop and the player not listening They don't even have to recognize the player as the same one from the world they saved, but it would be an interesting 'you lied to me all that time? This is what you're really like?' moment Edit: I just realized how this has a similar melody to Eleventh Hour at first. Not an exact match, but it's roughly the same pitches
I wish I could, and I prooobably could? But the amount of dialogue that would need to be changed to account for that would be like rewriting the entire text. I am still trying to incorporate something like you're talking about in a few places, so hopefully it'll work out.
@@theshiberealm9022 It could always be a mental thing! Like Niko managed to develop a way to talk to the Player without actually speaking so you can retain the silent Niko aspect that speaks through looks. Would heavily cut down the dialogue needing to be changed, potentially down to nothing, only needing to add new triggers. However a slight few changes might need to be made if this is happening while another character is talking, but that could just be a 'hey, you're staring out into space, you okay?' thing before continuing as normal I've worked with Gamemaker Studio before, but I couldn't even get collision working let alone dialogue, so unfortunately I don't really have a good grasp on how difficult the whole dialogue thing is to do, but here's hoping it goes smoothly

@@DNADeoxys Question to that question: Why did Undyne attack Frisk? everyone else in Snowdin thought they were a monster, but she still somehow knew. (Also, in this timeline some humans that fell were Niko’s species, so monsters know to look out for both types)
