@@PlanetaryExplorer I know he didn't. I was asking how he went so long before looping without taking the core out. Like I said, in my game it loops about when it hits giants deep. (though on reflection the lore reason has nothing to do with anything further out from the center than the ash twins. I guess that's just how long it takes) maybe the apparent variability is due to differences in our rigs, or maybe I'm misremembering. Maybe it seems longer in the video because he isn't referencing the map, and that's basically all I'm looking at when I do this. (don't click read more if you haven't beaten the game MAJOR SPOILERS) I think the loop starts when the ATP collapses in (i.e when you would die while remaining in ATP after removing the core). My first thought was that it had to reach the Orbital probe data at the center of Giants deep, but on reflection that isn't how the statues work. It doesn't need to reach the white hole either, since the white hole used by the ATP should be the one in the warp core IIRC rather than the natural one. In either case, if it were using that one, the important thing would be when it reached brittle hollow's blackhole to put energy into the system, but that would be relatively ineffective considering the inverse square law. For the ATP to get as much energy as possible and thus give the Orbital Probe Cannon as much time as possible, the blackhole used to generate the loop should be as close to the star as possible. Putting it as far out as brittle hollow would leave them with a small fraction of the energy they could get from Timber Hearth, which would be a small fraction of what they could get from putting it on the Hourglass twins. Ideally they would put it on the sun station, but it was a big enough engineering challenge making it survive long enough in an armored sealed and buried vault in the core of Ash Twin. Edited to fix where I said Ember Twin when I meant Ash.

@@TheBurningWarrior Well, you can see on his flashbacks that he started to move away from the Sun at the beggining of the loop, so he had 22 minutes to do this. Maybe that is clear.

I just got it for about $8.99, and I've gotten more than my money's worth. I like the tracks like this and the German ones - with akward hairpins and narrow alleyways. Dirt 4 has more realistic (and less forgiving) handling physics, but WRC7 has more interesting (and real-world) rally stages, more detailed stage notes, and an overall faster-paced driving feel in my opinion (with simulation handling). WRC7 also has split screen incase my 5yo son ever learns how to use brakes effectively 😄
