83〜4年くらいだったか 六本木インクにサンディアンドザサンセッツ見に行った 演奏が始まり幕があがったら なんと大酔っ払いのロバートパーマー 2〜3曲歌ったか vipルームには坂本龍一　デニスボーヴェル

Two members from Chic and Robert Palmer are sorely missed.

初めて演奏してる姿観ました。ロバート•パーマーって冴えないおじさんを起用したアンディ•テイラーのグットセンス。多分パワーステーションの活動がなければロバート•パーマーってその後の活躍はなかったでしょうね。 初めはこの曲のズッコンバッコン的な歌詞を歌うのに難色を示してたらしいですよ。でもやって大成功でしたね。

私の好きな曲『Hold Me Now』が入ってない😩

パワステだ未だに聴く とにかくDURANの2人がも その当時たまげたし 早くに去ったパ一マ一だが 声が良かった そしてトニーの ドラム音は砂袋がドスドスと 歩いてゆくような新鮮極まり無かった覚えがある 素晴らしいバンドだったよ👍💪🎵

Bob Palmer was a music industry wise old bird...He read the situation, rode the wave of fame this recording project gave him & didn't bother wasting any of his precious time with any further live Power Station performances or subsequent tour & went straight back into the studio to record his Riptide album...👌
