Listening to your playlist while annotating classic books quotes on my journal ( so that i can avoid damaging the book and later add notes to them ) has to be the best experience

I gotta find a circus playlist that also has Phatom of the Opera, and greatest showmen circus vibe to it 😂 this one is so cool as well I love the music and really set the tone and mood for my book

I'm currently in a maths lecture on probability, ... again (it's too late to leave now and i've already done all the work for this i can). Beneath the dim light of a sputtering candle, the mathematician sat, his desk strewn with tattered papers, ink-stained fingers trembling as they danced over a battered chalkboard. Numbers sprawled like jagged constellations, equations blooming and collapsing, their logic as fragile as frost on a winter pane. At first, it was the music of it that called to him, the silent harmony hidden in the integers and symbols. Patterns that sang, an orchestra conducted by his quivering hand. Theorems spun in his mind like threads of an unseen tapestry, and for a time, the world made sense-its beauty shining through every solution, every proof. But the music soured, and the silence between each revelation grew loud. Too loud. Chaos slithered into the cracks. Questions without answers grew roots in the crevices of his thoughts. He muttered in fragmented sentences, his voice brittle as glass. "The primes... they're watching. Always watching. How many steps until infinity folds in on itself?" He laughed then, sharp and sudden, a sound too jagged to belong to any sane throat. They called him brilliant, once. Now, they call him mad. The knowledge burned, searing paths through his soul as if the answers he sought were brands. He had seen too much, glimpsed the abyss where numbers and the infinite meet. And oh, what horrors writhed there! His scribbles became sprawling labyrinths on the walls of his study, shapes like fractals twisting into forms that defied comprehension. Somewhere, buried in the tangle, lay the Truth. He was sure of it. Sure, even as the laughter bubbled up from his chest again, and he whispered nonsense to the creeping shadows that had begun to pool in the corners of the room. "Order," he muttered, lips cracked from sleepless nights. "Order born from chaos... and chaos bound to return." And yet he persisted. For the curse of his knowledge was also its allure. A siren’s call that kept him tethered to the brink, always teetering but never able to fall away. He no longer knew whether he sought salvation or oblivion. Only the math remained, its symbols looping endlessly in his fevered mind-a carnival of logic, spinning, spiraling, consuming him whole. Perhaps, he thought in a rare moment of lucidity, this was what it meant to truly understand the universe. To lose oneself in the symmetry and the madness, in the cacophony of proofs and paradoxes that laughed in the face of reason. And so he scribbled on, a man lost to the elegance and the terror of knowing too much.

This is one of my favourite books. What a great playlist for a reread !

There is something about the circus that keeps bringing me back. Maybe its the colors, the sounds, the feelings, or maybe something I as a human will never understand. The circus feels like a home, maybe it used to be in a past life and thats why I keep longing for it, not wanting it to end. (Btw I have never read Night Circus, but I want to.)
