Piano 1 is tuned at the normal A440, piano 2 is -25 cents, piano 3 -50 cents, piano 4 -75 cents; this gives the instrumentation 48 tones instead of 12, which divides the microtonality into eighth tones. Piano 2 is tuned down by 50 cents making it a 1/4 tone flatter than piano 1 which is the normal A440. This allows for 24 tones instead of the usual 12. 1. 0:00 2. Fantasia Study 3:17 3.
