Old vids like this always leave me curious. I'm thinking about buying one of those Greenworks saws, but their customer service is so bad - on a legendary scale - that I'm hesitating While I have their weed whacker and it's performed without a problem, I also have their pressure washer and got to learn first hand just how amazingly awful their customer service really is. To say that their reputation for horrific customer service is well-earned would be an understatement. So, I guess my question is --- how's the saw after 4 years. Or, how many have you had to throw away once they stopped working, the oil tank cracked, etc? If you've gotten 4yr of good service out of it, great. That would be nice to know.

Thank you! Mower would not turn over. Battery good. Unplugged ignition and tried the wire trick. Turned over. Blew out dust, re-plugged, started. Yes!

tried this. the switch is ok. i suspect the fuse, but cant figure out the fuseholder. i found it but cant figure out how to open it. i dont want to break the fuseholder, but cant check it without opening the fuse holder.

That is the last chassis I would ever pick for this kind of work..

I’m a Farmall guy, not AC so I could be mistaken, but I was always told to stand out of the way of the crank and start on the bottom and pull-up. On Farmalls at least, pulling the crank past top-dead center can be deadly. Great video anyways 😊

Definitely a PITA getting it on there solo, what I found was easiest on getting that belt on is getting some slack on the belt by taking it off the idler pulley that's on the spring arm. Then either getting the belt looped onto the engine pulley from below as you show, or having someone push the handle bars down to lift up the deck and get the belt looped through that opening under the attachment point, and then getting it back on the idler pulley afterwards since it's easier to mess with out in the open. I've also had both the brush mower and the finish mower up against a tree to try and do it myself, still a PITA as it never lines up right to go in smoothly. LOL

What about a problem with the pull and push knob that activates the blade to spin? If you could put on a video on that , it would be great. The belts are fine, the blade is fine. It goes forward, backward just fine, the fast and slow works fine. The push/pull knob to activate the blade isn’t working. I tried disconnecting the bottom, to unplug it to see if there’s a connection problem and can’t get it apart. Some guy on RUclips showed he drilled a hole on top the knob and sprayed WD40 into the hole and it worked fine. I was too nervous to do that so I pulled the knob up , sprayed WD40 around the bottom of the knob , left it all night . Tried in the morning and it still didn’t work. So before I drill on top the button , if you got an idea that would be great 👍🏼.

I have a 1950 IB and thankfully it has a starter motor because it’s a bear to start with the crank , and floods very easily. Nice looking B you have there and sounds great .

Great video man! Mine is "stove- up" a bit, however. I actually have two of these WONDERFUL ATVs, and both are stove up where the black knob activates the two metal locking pieces on the bottom of the cap. I have soaked then in pénétrant and they still do not function correctly. Ugggghhhh
