slide hopping itself isn’t enough to gain or maintain momentum. you have to use slide hopping combined with air strafing to maintain your speed, then you have to add wall kicking into THAT to gain speed. if all 3 aren’t working together, you’ll keep losing speed over time

Hey salty! If the vibration is helping, great! But i’d recommend learning with vibration turned OFF. Reason being if you’re waiting for the vibration to prompt your button input, there will always be a delay and you’ll build friction, eventually stopping. Ideally, you want to learn the timing, not the vibration pattern.

@KidHeinz I turned the vibration off awhile ago so I'm used to the timing but the vibration did help for a little bit but it was easier when I got the timing down

Unfortunately I think all this advanced movement, while it's many players' favorite part of the game, is why it will never survive in today's market. Everyone's used to easy instant gratification shooters with low skill floors. As much as I love the game, I don't think we will ever see something like this again...
