Name says it all. I enjoy firearms for recreational use and hunting. I am in no way an expert, but I do have fun. I also dabble in other areas that interest me. Thanks for watching and thanks for stopping by.

Get a Dremel and sand it smooth. No need to let it stay rough. I'm going to be polishing later.
I don't mind it. I just need to find somewhere to buy more barrels, lol. Thanks for watching.
I have the 637-2. Same gun. Just that I prefer the hammer. Only difference.
I agree. They didn’t have the 637 on sale when I bought mine. I still want one very bad.
I have 3 Enfields. 1917 SMLE, 1943 No4 Mk1 and a 1942 Savage No4 Mk1. I’m a big fan of Enfield Rifles. Expensive to shoot but well worth it.
LOL! I am the guy to worry about 😎 like Mr Eastwood himself. Cool wheel gun!
Thank you, Sir. I'm pretty excited about it.
I hate when my nipples get mushroomed! Great video!
It's the worst! So embarrassing....

To the brave enough guy to wear the least flattering “muscle shirt” and green spandex short shorts. 😂 The internet is forever. 11:59 I was swearing at the screen saying just put the one in your left hand in the mag!!!! No research needed. Thank you for getting there! It woulda stressed me out if you didn’t. I’ve found that a function test as soon as mechanically possible has saved me a lot of swear words. Aka test fit before the re-blue, but skinning a cat, right?
Too old to care too much what I look like. Just trying to stay cool in Texas summer, lol. We’ve been to the range since and it worked fine. We’ll see how long it lasts. Thanks for watching!

Love this lamp!
It turned out pretty good. I love it too..😉😁
Acquired 3 Jframes recently. 642 for my son. 442 for my front pocket. 640 stainless for special occasions. 👍✌️
I already want another. The 637 has caught my eye but, S&W have recently released the old school model 10 “Chiefs special”. So maybe I’ll hold out for that instead!😍. Thanks for watching!
Instead of a regular duplex receptacle, Maybe a combo receptacle/ usb port .They are around $20 depending where you shop. If you want a more industrial look , use a vapor tight cage fixture, a standard A lamp( standard base bulb) will fit. I am going to make 1 of these. Great job.
I've thought about adding so many things to these in the past, but it just drives the cost so high! I love the look of these and enjoy making them but, I can't justify a high dollar lamp when they're $15 at Walmart. I made a more steampunk one a few years back. All brass fittings and whatnot. Even using a lot of leaking fittings from work I still paid a fair amount out of pocket. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
A guy could have saved $4.50 if you cut the cords off of every broke electronic part with a "good" cable. You could let them roll around in the back of a van for 6 or 7 years to season them as well.
I’ve done that as well, lol.
The SB models are smooth shooters. My SB is feels smoother than my other 92’s including the Langdon.
Unfortunately I don’t have another one to compare to…yet, lol. I love how it shoots though. Can’t wait to get it back to the range. Thanks for watching!
THANKS FOR VIDEO , VERY INFOERMATIVE !! THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE BROTHER ! BEST REGARDS ! MARK 1941 1/18/2025
Thanks so much for watching. This gun had a pretty interesting origin story.
The sb also has the lanyard loop port to starboard and not fore to aft like the 92f,fs amd m9 also. Nice addition!
How can I have forgotten the lanyard loop? Thank you for reminding me and for watching. I'm very happy with how clean it is.
How’d it go?
Haven't made it to the range with this ammo yet. Should happen pretty soon as I want to see how it shoots. Thanks for watching!
NICE DOWN TO EARTH VIDEO THANSK FOR THE COOL VIDEO .BE SAFE ENJOY
I appreciate that. I wish I had my own property so I could talk while shooting but I do what I can with what I've got. Thank you for watching.
Own the 642pc and the 637pc. They are my favorite in my collection.
I still want to buy the 637 too. Such fun little pistols.
Beautiful gun. I Love Derringers. Very versatile and old west romance. Made in America!!
Better than made in America! Made in Texas!😉 I keep meaning to find a place to buy more barrels bit, just ha en’t committed to it yet. Such a cool little gun. With so much potential. I may eventually be brave enough to get the 45-70!😳😳
You Sir, are a talented and good looking man.
Takes one to know one.
Did you go to the range yet?? I got a mag stuck in my 92x compact. & the dude at the store told me don’t use any other mags except the 15 rounders. Can you recommend a plus 2 that would work? Thanks.
ruclips.net/video/UJkxkJ_y56M/видео.html We did; I love it! I don't have any experience with the compact though I have seen some of the magazines for it while shopping for the full-size mags. The plus 2 I found was on gunmagwarehouse, but I don't know if the same extension would work for the compacts. I suppose they might as likely the compacts are just shorter. If the mag you were using was a full size that got stuck it may just need a spacer to keep it from going too far into the mag well and catching on something in the action. I know my 30 rounders came with a spacer to prevent that from happening and I saw warnings about that while researching this mag conversion. It may just be over inserting. I don't know for sure though. Might be something you have to play with. Sorry that happened to you though. Nothing more frustrating than finally getting to the range only to deal with problems.
Theres a lot of things I prefer on this vs the pdp and vice versa, nonetheless if i was in the market for an out the box competition pistol with all the bells and whistles, this would be it, especially for the prices ive been seeing online. Great pick up 👌
I was hoping to catch it on sale, but I got impatient, lol. I agree with you, there are a few things I would change, but in the end, I can't argue with how well I shoot it. Now I want a P226 and they are around the same price...:o(
Ive always enjoyed the idea of a good ol git off me gun that can be shot through a coat pocket but as of now I've fully settled into appendix draw semi autos. Still this cant hurt to try. Great video!
@@casualshotsallday I still want to trend back in that direction, but I just haven’t found the right one yet. Darn, guess I’ll have to keep buying guns, lol.😂😂
This is why RUclips was created! Smiled the entire time gentlemen 😁. Belated Merry Christmas y'all ⛄
@@casualshotsallday same to you.😁
Im snowed in today so I can finally catch up on your latest videos. Thanks for the shout-out! Words are hard lol and appreciate you being a solid man brother 🙏
Thank you so much for watching. You made a good video, happy to send what meager traffic I get your way. Take care!
My understanding is spring steel is better today than 30 years ago.
I believe it. Still though, I feel like we could have added a few more rounds per mag. Probably more limited by concern than actual physical limitations. Who knows though?
ALUMINUM frame. I bought one from PSA. I love it.
Yup, aluminum. Figured it out after. Awesome gun!
Awesome video, Although I don’t know what drip means. I’m also an 80s child. Just picked up a compact 92X & a 92X centurion . And I had for years an M9a3 black. I got Landon tactical parts for it. The trigger bar, trigger spring, G conversion, And trijicon yellow HD night sights. Did you get a beretta box?? They are on sale now for seventeen bucks as of this post. I got one for my APX A1 carry. J&M custom kydex has a great quality holster. Happy new year dude! 🙏
Drip just means it looks good. I think, lol. I saw that a lot of the Xs are on sale I’m still thinking about it. I probably won’t upgrade anything unless something breaks but I do like those langdon tactical made ones. Very cool. Thanks so much for watching and Happy New Year!
The only thing I don't like about these, is that because the grip does NOT flare out at the bottom like the M9/92FS, the hole for the magazine is slightly smaller than the M9/92FS. This makes it slightly harder to do a speed reload compared to the M9/92Fs. The Taurus PT92 magwell is the same way. I still like the straight grip on the 92SB better than the M9 though, it feels slightly better in my hand.
It’s been so long since I shot an M9 I can’t disagree. It’s crazy to think how much has changed in firearms development since this gun was adopted.
😂😂
😁😉
I feel kinda the same as you with my Taurus 605, and now I'm wanting to get the new Taurus 650 just to have one with the shrouded hammer!
I get it. I want them both for no real reason.🤷♂️
Looks good 👍🏻. I painted my old REM 700 .270 a while back. I like it way better now 😂😂👍🏻🇺🇸
Same for me. This paint job was long overdue. I can’t wait for it to wear in a little.
Very nice video, I also grew up watching Lethal Weapon and Die Hard and the 92 is truely an iconic piece, saying that I'm watching Lethal weapon as I type this
I am behind on my Christmas movies so far. I plan to fix that this week. Thank you for watching!
I have several J frames ALL of them have had a spring set change to get a decent trigger pull. Wolf spring sets are $8 a pak. Then I put Crimson Trace laser grips on them.
You’re the 2nd person to mention both upgrades. May have to look into them.🤔
@@FlashinthePan82 You will definitely like the trigger change. There are a bunch of videos on how to do it. I also pull the lock and replace it with a plug.
Luckily mine doesn’t have the lock. I’ll look into the spring kit. Any problems with light primer strikes?
@@FlashinthePan82 No I have not had any, there are kit with a slightly longer firing pin and rebound spring. I tried one and it was fine, but just changing the springs does wonders.
I’ll look into it. Thank you so much and thank you for watching!😁
I’ve got several ccw carry guns i keep going back to my 642 i have the performance center model i carry it in a pocket hostler i forget i even have it most of the time
Such a great little gun!
DeSantis Nemesis holster is perfect for these jframes in pocket. Easiest ccw setup with a .38 punch! ✌️
I just ordered one. Paid $30 for handpicked. I have high hopes.
Fingers crossed for you. I got lucky and she shoots great!
@@FlashinthePan82 I picked it up today. I'm very pleased. It has the original blued finish. It's obviously used, there is some wear on the beavertail, trigger guard and grip. But, I think it's in great shape for 40 year old pistol.
Tuned up my 442 with a wilson combat spring kit then chamfered the cylinder and swapped out the factory grips for a crimson trace lg105 laser grip, hides a little better than my 629 snubnose.
Did the spring kit make for a lighter trigger? I don't mind mine so far. I may swap out grips for some wood, strictly for aesthetics. I bet it does hide better than a 629! lol
The wilson kit makes for a much smoother and lighter trigger, and with the wilson kit you won't need an extended firing pin.
@@jasonashley4579 May have to check that out.
Excellent video..I’ve got a S&W .38 +P Bodyguard (w/Hogue grips) and really like that one too.
The 637 is selling for $405 right now too with a $50 rebate. I’ve thought about it but this will have to hold me over for now.
Practically vanishes in the pocket.
Indeed, lol.
OK, a handgun that holds two rounds and is meant for "close encounters" hurt your thumb after being fired forty times in succession. I'll certainly take that into account.
You seem fun.
@@FlashinthePan82 You seem sarcastic.
Thanks for the video, very informative
@@HulkSmash08. range trip is coming shortly.😁 thanks for watching!
Accidental Binary, liberals would never 😂. Good video!
😂😂😂didn’t even think about it that way, lol!!
Appreciate the update Sir, I've ordered from gunmagwarehouse in the past too. Good company, no complaints 👍🏼
My friend loves his tactical off set irons so much he also puts them on his hunting rifles for his deer rifles.
That's a good idea!!
Surplus guns don’t usually come with extra magazines. Sometimes you can find some with 2 mags at a gun show or pawnshop
I know, I just hate it. One magazine is about useless. lol
Not firing pin, hammer pin. The hammer pin that holds the hammer in, inserted into the side of the weapon has a much larger head on the FS/M9 which extends into the slide. There is a cutout in the slide that fits that hammer pin head which eventually ends further down the slide which will make it bind if the slide goes too far.
Thank you. I couldn’t remember exactly what it was for the life of me!😂😂
@@FlashinthePan82 and actually alot of these SBs have that enlarged Hammer pin. I got one from CFA and it has the enlarged hammer pin like the 92FS incase of slide coming off in a crazy failure. These pistols must have been reworked at sometime to mil the spot on the slide and the grips. you can check if yours has it by taking the right side grip off and see it has a big hammer pin the size of a dime or so that has a grove that fits in the frame and a cut out in the grip. Pretty cool! so basically any 92FS grip will fit my 92Sb perfectly.
How do you know what is on A or B phases?
It's going to be a chore to find out. I would have to do a current check on each incoming phase at the breaker panel. Then turn on various things to figure out which phase shows an increase in current. Even then you have to worry about fridges/freezers cycling while you're doing that.
Also, some breaker panels it is easy to see if you remove the cover panel. Others, not so much.
@@FlashinthePan82 ah okay, im down here in FL and by the grace of god we didnt flood, but i do need to work on figuring out how to get my gen connected to the house. I didnt know you could just.. plug it into a socket and back feed it like that! LOL
It's a little on the sketchy side but, as long as you're smart about it. It should be fine. Just remember to shut off your main, lol.
@@FlashinthePan82 Na man, im gonna power the whole grid!

@@antivanity “Say no to Monica’s ex-boyfriend’s wife in 2016.” 😂😂
@@FlashinthePan82 LOL!
Beretta mag bodies are identical. They are dimpled according for 10 -15 rounds, and for copy manufacture like taurus and derya.
Makes sense.
