I understand people having complaints with the game since the game itself is not perfect. The combat system, while certainly improved, could use a little more work. There are some bugs in the game like the cube and Peter being stuck in a tree during the Peter symbiote boss fight. There isn't any new game plus or anyway to change the day-night cycle, although that is being fixed. The suits we got were great but there were some obvious winners that were in the previous game that aren't in this game like the Big Time Suit or the ANAD suit. Other than that, I liked this game a lot and don't really see the criticisms regarding the "woke" stuff. The Hailey side mission was cool and a really interesting way to show the perspective of a deaf person. I haven't played the LGBTQ side mission but I heard that's ok. The MJ missions are leagues better than the last game. Miles being the main Spider-Man is fine by me since I like Miles and relate to him much more than Peter. Plus I like where his story is going with Cindy so I'm interested in exploring it further. Plus, as @liammcguire1954 said, Peter has been through a lot so I don't really think asking for a break to focus on his personal life is too much to ask. Anyway, that's my opinion on the game. Let me know what you think.

At 10:33 for the argument about the enemies being taken down faster by MJ then either of the spidermen, isnt it because they have to pull their punches so they don't accidently kill their enemies? Whereas MJ doesn't have super strength and needs a taser to balance things out. Plus I think a taser to the neck would knock most people out

I mean if this game didn't have the title spiderman 2 no one would like it. The story is a huge downgrade from spiderman 1 and even Miles. Same map as the first 2 games and same combat. GOT Boring very fast and story was exactly amazing spiderman 1 movie. Gadgets and special moves were dumbed down press to win. And kravin story was awkward and not enough villians

It has Twitter brain propaganda in the game but it's never forced on you. You can definitely 100% this game and not notice any of the neich woke stuff.

As someone who has platinumed the game and beaten it on spectacular, I don’t see the arguments for how it’s woke. People will point to one of the missions where you need to get a monitor working for a student proposing to his boyfriend. I don’t see how the fact of them being gay is woke. They don’t make it a huge deal that they are. And people will also point to Hailey’s mission where you need to spray paint the walls when someone is desecrating them. I also don’t see how this is woke. Hailey being deaf doesn’t make it woke. I found the mission to be very wholesome. At worst it’s tedious. Both of these missions are optional so they’re not required. If people are mad that gay, black, and deaf people are in the game. This is New York City, which has many diverse groups of people and walks of life. Then the last one I’ve heard is that Miles is somehow replacing Spider-Man. He’s not. Peter is taking a back seat sure, but it’s never implied it’s permanent. All he says is that he needs to be Peter for awhile, with Peter replying if he’s sure. Miles even says that he’ll ask him for advice and that there will come a time, implying that he’ll need Peter’s help as Spider-Man if that comes. Miles has already proven himself by this point and shown capable of protecting the city. And let Peter settle down for awhile. He deserves it after all the shit he’s been through. The people who are saying it’s woke have never actually played the game

I agree in both cases but tbh, there's always gonna be lgbtq related stuff in media no matter what, don't know why people complain so much unless it's being shoved directly in their face like they're at gunpoint. Also For Mj, I understand why she looks different and why her missions changed, you could say it was for better or for worse but I see it as a posisitive since now you can activiely defend yourself on them instead an animation of you getting caught (and for Mj's face, people get old and get wrinkles, I don't get why people complain) Then the part about Miles, I don't know why anyone complains about him being there at all, I just kinda find it weird in most cases
