If the skin is too tight you can still do a dorsal slit or you can cut vertical and stitch horizontal. In my country where I live in Europe, we treat phimosis this way. So, circumcision is the last resort ! Over 90% of the general population is intact.

Hello Doc, I gave birth to baby boy on Sep 16th 33+5( 1.76kg) maternal choriomniotsis, passed meconium in 24hrs. He is admitted in NICU from Day 1 for feed intolerance and bilious vomiting. They kept him on npo and gave antibiotics slowly he was brought to full feed, applied medicine to pass stool as he did not pass it in last 4days. Again bilious vomiting has started on Day 12, he is on npo without any antibiotics. CRP and other vitals are normal. Upper GI & Lower GI contrast study are also normal. Baby is on self breathing(1.85kg), pediatric surgeon did not find any obstruction, volvulus or hirschsprung disease and advised conservative management. Doctors are not able to diagnose the underlying issue for bilious vomit. Could you please advise.

My son was diagnosed with severe hydronephrosis since birth and had monthly checkup with one of known gov hosp. During the 1st year of life, he was active and appeared well and healthy until one incident that turned our family's life upside down. He got covid from his babysitter and since then he had recurring fever every months to a point that he dropped several kilos. Till one point that wife and I decided that gov hosp. was no longer doing any favor to our child and the idea of having to wait until the scheduled surgery even after one year of monitoring when there was no improvement at all, we decided to contact Dr Nada to get a second opinion on our son's condition. To my surprise, the advise and explanation given totally differs and my son was scheduled a surgery within the same month due to the severity of his condition. Ever since the surgery, my son had been well and healthy. Of course there will be fever on and off which is considerably normal to infant/toddler attending playschool. My wife and I are very thankful to Dr Nada for his passion and care given and if we did not took the impulsive move to change my son's surgeon, I cannot imagine what kind of life my son would have live today.
