Could have used the DMA hardware from the gameboy advance, that way you could play the samples for the drums
Well, I wanted to use only gameboy chip to make this one
@@mr.saturn_boing Yea but Mother 1+2 used the DMA for drums in the Mother 1 portion, (and they sounded like garbage) and Mother 2 used it to play the whole song

My only complaint is that the DPCM is too loud.
@@sunscraper1 Well, there's no register fpr DPCM to change volume level, i guess main problem in delta counter reset that i used (dpcm without resetting sounds less punchy and boring)

seems a fine volume to me, honestly. i think the bigger problem is just the length of the sample in general
DPCM is muffled, so making it loud is a good call
