I haven’t used it on drums yet, will def give it a try. Normally I use it for post fx textures for melodies, get some ear candy on them 🤣

fyi - I purchased the M6 and it does indeed run direct off of a battery pack!

When I tried to power it with only a usb I had it plugged into my monitor and maybe that wasn’t enough to power it at the time. I just tried to power it via my computer tower and it works! Also that’s dope it can run on a battery pack 👀

Yeah the monitor USB hub is the issue. A direct USB-C port would work.

Thank you, I really appreciate it! But, thats a good point to add and can save people a lot of time when they are trying to find the annoying pops and ticks. Also I believe I mentioned to use your ears when editing your sounds in the video. At the time I was looking at the mixer percentage to give new people something to look at.

@@naegleriafowleri2230 yes it did it was annoying. I had the focurite solo. I’m assuming audio interface that don’t have a power switch may do it. The motu does make a sound when you turn the mic off/on but it will only capture it if the mic is hot.

@@808_Maru Was your Solo 3rd gen? would it pop on both PC on and off? I have a focusrite 18i8 with a power switch and a power brick. It doesn't pop when turning PC off, but it always pops when turning PC on. I also have a solo, which pops when PC on or off. Both are 3rd gen, so latest drivers. I think the 18i8 has something to stop pop on power off only or it may be because it has a power supply. This tells me focusrite is just garbage lol I read it may be due to the focusrite using capacitor coupled outputs rather than class-AB operational amplifier IC, so it creates a pop when the USB connects to the PC

@@naegleriafowleri2230 It was the first gen focusrite. I'm not sure on "PC on" but when i turned my computer off there was a popping sound. I'm going to guess that there was a popping sound when I turned the PC on but I never do it with my headphones actually on. The focusrite was my first interface and I can agree the build quality isn't the best. I need to do more research on them but if you ever want to join the discord.
