Hey Gaby glad you got sorted, I'm getting there. I too need a new chair, mine is so manky, Ziggy has wrecked it. I recently got a unit delivered from Ikea, there were foot prints on the parcel and it was cracked. I kept it coz was so fussy to unpack.

Oooooo!! I have that Monarch fan brush! I love the Monarch line! I use them for my oil painting and they are wonderful! They lay the paint down nice and smoothly, but are strong enough to really drag those oil paints around!

The Meeden double water pot is on Temu right now for $16.97. I know not everyone likes Temu, but I’ve gotten great deals with no issues.

I know that paintbrush was hard to open, but at least you know that your product came undamaged and was properly packaged. I would rather go through the headache of trying to get the packaging off then have a good paint brush ruined, but I get it though it can be frustrating.

Oh Gaby I love your little Rollo, he's adorable! If you don't like your flowers, maybe you could collage some more over them?? I love it though just as it is. How amazing it will be to have all that extra space, you'll be so organised, hope we're going to get a tour :) xo

Wow! That was truly mixed media Gaby! She's beautiful and it was a joy to watch you creating her. Thank you for the tip about using a clean dry brush to blend the paint, I always struggle with the blending, so I must try that :)

Everyone seems to be having the same problem with that paint Gaby, I wonder if was a dodgy batch or something, hopefully Scrawlr peeps are looking into it, I'm sure Daler Rowney paints are usually reliable aren't they? Anyway, LOVED your artwork, it's really fun and colourful and I can see it features lots of things from your life - I thought that was a fun challenge and I do love Inktense pencils :)

My gouache was the same. I emptied the whole tube out without much luck, so I didn't use it in the end. Love your take on the prompt.😊

My gouache was exactly the same - runnier than a tube of watercolour! I posted in the Scrawlrbox chat and everyone was having the same problem and had to try and insert a stick/end of a paintbrush and stir it up inside the tube to get it properly mixed. Lovely art!

Nice haul. Fineliner's are literally the hardest to find that are actually waterproof. I like my Tombow monotwin myself. I'm glad they have better supplies. The last time I bought brushes from them they fell apart after one use. The bristles all fell out. Great art pieces, can't wait to see what else you create with your new toys!

Posca colored pencils are great! They are my number one go to. I wish they had more colors, though. Happy mail is the best!

Aw glad you liked everything!! The pencils are very buttery to use! I love them!! The Derwent skin tone ones, I have no recollection of buying them at all! I found them when I was getting the Posca pencils out of you and it was like the first time I’d even seen them 🤣 Your portrait is gorgeous Gaby!! ❤
