I'm thinking of buying one, what's your warranty policy, and do you ship to Taiwan?
Thanks :) Yes, we ship to Taiwan. We don't have a formalized warranty policy currently, but we always take care of our customers. You can expect a lifetime warranty if you order now, even if we later introduce a limited warranty.
Damn that's sick man.
Thank you!
I've always wanted a keyboard like the dactyl manuform, but it's just too expensive. How much is one of your standard options ?
Hi! We offer various levels. The most affordable are "kits" where you have to build it yourself. All the prices are up to date on our website: www.cyboard.digital/
Which case material is this? Would love an ergo mechanical keyboard with better sound than my ergodox, which is frustratingly rattly and high pitched.
This one is PLA plastic, 3D printed. We also offer more premium options like industrially printed Nylon for the upper shell, and CNC aluminum for the base plate. There's a bit more info on our available materials here: www.cyboard.digital/material-guide
How big are your hands (bottom palm crease to middle finger)? I know Imprints are built custom to size, but keycaps don’t get any closer and the keywell can only be curved to a limit for shorter hands.
Erik's hands (in the video) are about 20 cm long from wrist crease to middle finger tip, . While there is a limit to the curvature, we've accommodated many different sizes of hands and even partially amputated fingers to great success. To give a sense of the variation we've had in customers so far, their middle finger lengths (knuckle to tip) range from 8.5 to 12.5 cm, and all are able to get a tailored fit :)
@@cyboard3674 thanks Erik
So can you mount using this? Let’s say to the edge of a table with some clamps (like you can in the Glove80)? :)
Currently there's not an integrated mounting screw hole by default, but it is something we will likely add in the future. :)
Really quite impressive that you managed to get hot swappable keys on a curved board working when other companies are having a tough time with it! Just got a dactyl from you guys, really like it. But I just say the Imprint really caught my eye haha. I'll need to wait a while before making that plunge though.
Thanks so much! Glad to hear you're enjoying your dactyl :)
I find all these project so interesting an wanna play with them all even if they are not what I personally would use a daily board hehe this chunko is adorable
that top row will never be touched
biblically accurate keyboard:
I'd really recommend using mouse switches for the clicks though, mx switches have way too much travel. It would also be pretty easy to implement and customize since there's quite a variety of the standard size mouse switch (I like silent huano browns personally) and you wouldn't have to change the circuitry since they're essentially just shorter throw mechanical switches. The buttons could be 3d printed easily too. I have been on a ergonomics journey for trackball recently and I really think you should look at the elecom huge for some inspiration. If you can fit a small mouse button in between the trackball and the main board, you can always keep your ring finger on the right click while utilizing your pointer and middle finger for super precise trackball control. Then you could have a 2 button mouse cluster for your thumb. The most ergonomic button being bound to left click, while the other button could be bound to a push to hold trackball scroll. This is what I've found is the most ergonomic mouse setup that reduces joint movement that you get from having to scroll with thumb or swap from right click to left click with thumb. The mouse thumb cluster could be just to the left of the keyboard thumb cluster.
This effect because of shape or hidden magnets?
Just the shape!
Where do you get the stl file for that looks really nice
@@Sanftinc Thanks! We don't have STLs available for this part. It is integrated into our Imprint keyboards now, but this part was just a prototype.
@@cyboard3674 would you sell the promo type already built
What switches are you using here? The default browns?
Yes, these are Gateron G Pro 3.0 Brown.
As a (Neo)Vim and tiling WM user, this is my dream keyboard to get rid of the conventional mouse once and for all! Definitely getting one next month, but I have a question; why do you guys need a photo of my hand when purchasing the keyboard? lol I mean, I'm gonna send it anyways, but I'm curious. 👀
Hi! Thanks for the interest :) The hand photos are for our fitting algorithm. We measure your hands and tailor the keyboard to be optimized to fit you.
is it glove80?
Nope, it's even better! This is our Imprint keyboard. It is made-to-measure for your hands. You can learn more at our website cyboard.digital
how do you press left and right click with that trackball?
You can set it up in multiple ways with the included QMK firmware. I've been using some of the opposite hand's thumb keys for those functions, but you can map the keys anywhere, or even set up an auto-mouse-layer, which changes the functions of some keys within a certain time of when you moved the mouse.
When does this get released?
Within the next few days we'll have it added to our new customizer and ready to order :) cyboard.digital/imprint-customizer
quite crazy :)
I have to say I am very impressed, I made my own custom keyboard, and your flexible PCBs will be super helpful, I think it took me like 30 hours to solder an 80 keys keyboard. I did already recommend your service to a friend. One question, as it is RP2040 based board, would it be possible to use kmk_firmware aka (circuit Python) to program your keyboards?:) Thanks for your great work, I hope one of the bigger Ergokeyboard youtubers will cover your Keyboard!
Thank you very much! Yeah, hand-wiring takes so much time! We haven't tried using KMK firmware before, but there's no reason it shouldn't work. Our QMK firmware is published here: github.com/Cyboard-DigitalTailor/vial-qmk/tree/rigid-flex-matrix/keyboards/cyboard. That should give a good starting point for converting to KMK.
@@cyboard3674 Super, cool. Yeah, KMK can sometimes be hard to get running, but when it runs it really easy to change macros and stuff. Cool, I will have a look and order the PCB.:) Looking forward, for your track ball Version.;)
@@TobiasWegThanks for the support!
omg that looks so good. Too bad I already bought a 360 pro earlier this year...
Thanks! You can always upgrade next year ;)
where'd you get this ?
We made it! Over at cyboard.digital :)
These should be standard keyboards that everyone uses.
We totally agree!

where can buy Dactyl Manuform ??
We offer them on our shop, www.cyboard.digital/shop 🙂
@@cyboard3674 thank u for sharing the link, i want just to confirm and understand, on the website we cannot not buy directly we should to pass in pre-order!! can give more details about that ? and thank u so much
@@kamalkamals At the moment yes, there is a 3 week build time for made-to-order dactyls, and about 1 week for the stocked dactyl manuform.
that's cool and all, but you're just going to hover your hands there for...hours? It needs a wrist rest or your arms and shoulders are going to be destroyed in a day
Way ahead of ya ;) www.cyboard.digital/product-page/dactyl-palm-rest-set

Uggggg so confused lol
Great work! I can't wait to get this beauty home!
Same here! It'll be on it's way in a couple hours :)
