The condition of hostel seems very bad but the question is who will pay for the maintenance ? As far as I know the student fee of JNU is extremely low and students are adamant not to pay more. Jadavpur University students also pay paltry fees and their infrastructure is also in awful condition. I don't see any reason why tax payers money will be spent behind the students of these universities .
