Climber smarts off to guide and quickly finds himself Upside Down.
My apology. Someone else corrected me on the fact that Jim Clancy did not pass away. I made an incorrect assumption when I didn't see him amongst the other singers in videotaped jingle sessions recorded in recent years. He's enjoying his retirement. I meant no disrespect to Mr. Clancy or his family.
Are these guys behind "The Rhythm Of The City" Jingle package??
satoshi36100 oh yes they are!
I've posted the actual raw unedited vocal session for this at ruclips.net/video/dwWDVniQtVc/видео.html
This is Abby Holmes at her very best! While generally an integral part of the jingle ensemble; here she shines on her own. There is vocal happiness in her singing. Love it!!!
Some of the singers in the tribute worked later on (or some other time) for JAM? Namely, I recognized Kay Sharpe and Greg Clancy (or was it Jim Clancy)
It's Greg Clancy you see here...son of the late, great, awesome bass singer, Jim Clancy.
There's nothing late about bass singer Jim Clancy. He's alive and well, thank you.
Didn't Steve and Kay record for Gemmy Industries at one time?
I feel the need to revise my previous comment. I cannot say for certain that these singers are lip-synching since I was not present at the recording session. Watch it a few times and decide for yourself. If so, it does NOT diminish the reason for this wonderful tribute.
It was, indeed, lip synced. I was in the studio the day they actually sang it and ran video of the actual session. If I can figure out how to edit the thing, I'll post it.
You can view the raw vocal session, which I just posted, at ruclips.net/video/dwWDVniQtVc/видео.html
@@tcarman Thank you so much.
To write, arrange, produce and record a tribute to "The Jingle King" and make it actually sound like a jingle is genius! Although this vocal group is clearly lip synching to their own already-completed, "stacked" recording, it is nonetheless very touching.
She's awesome! I bet she's an amazing person.
Haha k I laughed at this pretty good! That's dirty!
Out of something so sad something so beautiful! A wonderful tribute from the group to Tom. He'd be so proud! :D
That wuz duuuuuuuurty.
That's Keanu Reeves!!!
Well dumb buddy!!!!!
Tom Merriman. You were the man!
@seankubin Nope, just stand on the edge, hold tightly to the rope, and slowly lean back until your legs are parallel to the ground. It's just like walking. If you're holding the rope, and it's behind your butt, and you just walk backwards, it's impossible to lose your footing unless you either freak out or trip. It seems a lot worse than it actually is.
ok.. so. I see the problem. Starting off legs vertical, rope horizontal. Once repelling it's the opposite. How do you do it correctly? lean back on the rope more? what if you loose your footing? then you will slam into the rock. Do you hug the rock then? sorta climb down and then get your feet under you?
What was dirty...?
@kennyraymon dude your a tool
Hello Guys. I love this jingle....
ouuuch
I have no idea who this man was; I am merely doing an article on lesser known celebrity passings of 2009. This was a sweet video, well done.
What a beautiful song!
P.S. Mr. Merriman passed away last Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 in Dallas, TX. Rest in peace, Tom, and thanks for everything!
whoa! how'd you wangle your way on to that! lol! just wish we can see the whole thing!
so funny lol
kinda funny.
sounds like bevis and butthead
haha that was good.
Good giggle. Wouldn't call the guy stupid or say he almost died. Obviously a beginner with safety in place - backed up by another belayer, even has helmet. She does a good job trying to talk him throught it... but he's just fuming :D
Agreed.
stupid that guy almost died lucky he had a belayer/locking rappel device
out of all the sports, im pretty sure 'rappelling' needs revolutionizing the least
See kids, that's why you back up your rappel.
jajaajajjjajajajajajjajaja que pendejo
that was cool even cooler if you went down heaD FIRst like spiderman
